Kitoko Oil Treatment

As many of you know I’m a real sucker for finding new, exciting and less well known brands and products to blog about, such as Sedbergh Soaps and Organic Colour Systems

I also find myself seduced by organic and natural products- products which are born from nature, free from harmful chemicals and yet provide you with fantastic results.

Lush Duck is a website which sells natural and organic products online, founded by beauty expert Amanda Bateman. She has seen first hand (as have I) the benefits that come from using natural hair and beauty products.

The site is full of products covering hair, skin and body care and features a wide range of brands such as Affinage, Lavera, Evolve and Organic Surge.

With so many items to chose from it’s hard to know where to start- I wanted to try them all!

I decided that given my recent post on Argan Oil, I would try out Affinage’s Kitoko Oil.

Kitoko oil is a serum for hair containing Karite Oil, Argan Oil, UV Filters and Vitamins A & E.

Karite oil is extracted from the nut of the Shea tree and blended with oil from the north African Argan tree to create the ultimate in hair rejuvenation.

The serum was light and silky when rubbed between my fingers and gave off a delicious fragrance.

Subtle but sweet. It reminded me of the aroma you may get in an exotic spa.

I applied the serum through my damp hair and blow dried as usual.

My hair felt smooth, silky and incredibly shiny. The brush glided through my hair, unlike normally when it has to be tugged through!

The formula is perfect for all hair types, tames frizzy and uncontrollable hair, is instantly absorbed with a non-greasy feel and improves hair’s elasticity.

I think that this proves that once again, nature triumphs and with a price tag of £6.50 for 10ml or £24.50 for 95ml there is an option to suit everyone’s budget.

You can get your Kitoko Oil treatment from Lush Duck here.

  4. This is the best hair product I have ever used. 5 years back i bleached my locks blonde and it wrecked my hair. I hadn't used this product yet. When I went back brunette at new hairdressers before she blow dried my hair she dosed it in Kitoko and it completely sold this product to me. I used it everyday from then and saw my hair condition, shine and grow thicker day by day! I grew my hair longer then i ever could! Nobody could believe it. Everyday I would get a comment how shiny my hair is and how great my hair is. Honest! I stopped using it stupidly for about 6 months. God knows why!! Unruly dry hair happened. Ordered it again and from first application it made my hair just stunning again. My hair is so soft. Its not heavy. Its my best beauty product by far. I highly recommend Kitoko.
