Giorgio Armani Maestro Fusion Foundation

I tried Giorgio Armani foundations for the first time following an interview I did last year with Kelly Clarkson.

When asked what her favourite make up brand was, she replied;

I really like Armani’s foundation, I really hate getting make up off, im not a huge make up fan, but I find Armani is really nice going on and its not so hard to get off either, so that’s why im a fan of their foundation. They’re frickin expensive but I love it. It just looks really good especially if your on like high def TV.

Well, If it’s good enough for Kelly...

I tried their Luminous Silk foundation (£34) and I haven’t looked back since.

I was really excited when they launched their new foundation, Maestro Fusion and couldn’t wait to try it out.

The new foundation uses innovative Maestro-Fil™ fusion technology that adapts to the tones and textures inherent within the skin for a totally tailor made coverage.

Now, unlike some of their other foundations (Luminous Silk or Designer Lift for instance) this foundation feels much lighter.

It has an ultra-fine texture that blends into the skin quickly and evenly.

It feels gorgeous to apply, spreading over the skin as a silky liquid before transforming into a feather light, matte finish.

The finish is beautiful; Matte and light, not at all thick and it allows your skins natural luminosity to shine through.

This formula is perfect for my oily skin, as with the matte finish I found I didn’t need a lot of powder to finish my look.

Giorgio Armani’s Maestro Fusion Foundation is available now in nine shades and retails at £36.

Dr Organic Virgin Coconut Oil Monoi Moisture Melt Body Oil

If you’ve still not hear of Dr Organic’s range of products, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!

Dr Organic utilise only the finest natural and organic raw materials wherever possible, contain natural ingredients, are Paraben and SLS free, suitable for vegetarians and are not tested on animals.

I’m in love the entire range, and its a  vast, vast range let me tell you!

There is literally something for everyone from shampoo’s to salt scrubs, eye creams to anti ageing serums, but today i want to introduce you to the Dr Organic Virgin Coconut Oil Monoi Moisture Melt Body Oil (£8.99).

This has quickly become my favourite Dr Organic product.

It might not look much to begin with, but appearances are often deceptive!

This exotic oil is a wonderful product for those of you who love an oil moisturisers.

Solid at room temperature

Like pure coconut oil, the product is solid at room temperate.

Its not until you warm it but placing it in a sink of warm water for a minute or too, that you see the transformation from a solid into a delicious, fine oil.

The smell is amazing.

Gently warmed under a running tap

Think fresh, creamy coconut with a hint of spa.

By now you’ll hopefully all know about the fab properties of coconut oil from my various posts (Here & Here), but this melt also includes Monoi which is a natural emollient that helps penetrate and rehydrate your skin too.

The solid product has begun to transform into an oil

Using this product feels experiencing a spa treatment. The smell is subtle yet gorgeous and the oil quickly sinks into your skin, leaving it soft and nourished rather than clogged and greasy.

Neal’s Yard Rejuvenating Frankincense Lip and Eye Serum

As I’m sure most of you know from first hand experience, winter really does take it's toll on your skin.

Freezing temperatures and hot central heating can often leave your skin feeling confused, dry and troublesome

(well, it does with mine anyway!)

It’s in these winter months that I find myself looking after my skin much better than I do during the rest of the year, which I know is bad as I should be doing my best all year long!

I saw Neal’sYard Rejuvenating Frankincense Lip and Eye Serum in a magazine recently and loved the sound of it.

It is an intensive daily treatment which can be used to help reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles.

It contains elasticity boosting baobab oil, nutrient rich marine algae, collagen stimulating tri peptides and a good old Christmas favourite, Frankincense!

The serum looks and feels pretty thick in consistency compared to other serums.

Its non- runny but also non greasy and when applied to the skin round your lips and eyes, sinks in quickly leaving no residue.

It immediately made my eye area feel firmer as well as super moisturised.

I always thought I preferred eye creams to serums for their moisturising properties, but this serum actually worked better than many of the creams I’ve tried for making my skin feel nourished and plumped.

Neal’s Yard Rejuvenating Frankincense Lip and Eye serum is available from their website and costs £23.75.
