Since becoming a mum
19 months ago every aspect of my life has changed and my beauty regime is one
of the parts that has changed massively!
Gone is the luxury of
lazy mornings pampering and preening myself; indulging in long manicures,
perfecting my brows and creating the most fabulous contour and highlighting
looks.
Now, speed and ease
of use are the two key things I look for in a beauty product. I’m always
against the clock (well actually, against a 19 month olds ability to keep themselves
entertained while I get dressed and make myself somewhat presentable!) so
things have certainly changed.
One thing that hasn’t
is the need to moisturise daily, thanks to my super dry eczema prone skin but
there’s nothing worse than slathering a body lotion on, only to hear your son’s
patience wane and realise you’re going to have to slide into your jeans while
you’re still sticky and wet. Not good.
My answer? Vaseline Intensive Care Spray Moisturiser. I’ve been using the Cocoa Radiant variant for
some time and loved it and they have now reformulated the spray to include micro-droplets
of healing Vaseline Petroleum Jelly.
I was given the
opportunity to try out the other items in the collection as well as a few
essentials to help speed up your morning beauty regime and boy has it helped,
and boy was it needed!
The Vaseline
Intensive Care Spray Moisturiser line comprises of my favourite, the cocoa
scented Cocoa Radiant, the original scented Essential Healing and a fresh, Aloe
scented Aloe Soothe. And yes, if you hadn’t noticed already, they come in an aerosol
spray. Most uncommon for a moisturiser huh!
Well, its inspired
really, the lotion is dispensed in an even, continuous spray allowing you to
apply it directly to the areas that need it quickly and fuss free.
All three lotions are
super lightweight and are absorbed almost instantly leaving no trace, which
means no more slipping and sliding into your clothes before your moisturiser
has dried.
I was sceptical as to
whether it would be nourishing enough for my dry skin but I have to say I was
impressed. Sure, problem areas like my knees and elbows could do with a little
extra help but the rest of my skin was left feeling soft and supple for hours.
So, moisturiser applied
in super quick time means I’ve managed to claw back some super precious time
and was able to indulge in some other quick beauty pick-me-ups thanks to the
generous Vaseline team!
My nails are bare and
boring no more thanks to Barry M’s Speedy Quick Dry Nail Paint and gone are my
red, tired eyes (along my lash line) thanks
to a quick swipe of Rimmel’s Nude Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal pencil.
I NEVER have time to
wash and blowdry my hair in the mornings but this doesn’t matter now with a
BaByliss Teasing Brush to detangle my mane and a quick spritz of some Tresemme
Instant Refresh Dry Shampoo.
I don’t have time to
mess about with my makeup but thanks to NARS The Mutiple in Orgasm which can be
used on your cheeks, lips and eyes, I can now leave the house looking more
manicured, healthy and all in a super short period of time.
Vaseline you’ve
nailed it, thank you!
You can get your own
Vaseline Intensive Care Spray Moisturiser for the great price of £5.99 from all
