The world of beauty
seems to be currently obsessed with a brand called Sunday Riley.
Sunday Riley launched
in 2009 but for some reason it only just seems to have started gaining serious
coverage very recently- (You’ve probably seen the multiple posts about their Luna
Sleeping Oil which is currently getting rave reviews by the way.)
Well for those of you
unfamiliar, this is how the brand describes itself;
Results are our #1 concern - the FASTER, the BETTER! Sunday Riley
firmly believes that ideal formulas are a perfect union between pure, potent
botanicals and advanced chemistry. The latest technologies are combined with
ingredients which are 99% pure to produce innovative and highly effective
skincare products.
Sounds promising right?
I love the idea of combining nature and science to create something that works!
So, I decided to give
their Ceramic Slip Cleanser a try.
This gel based, foaming
clay cleanser is rich in Vitamin C and Essential Oils and smells absolutely
incredible.
Designed to help
balance normal to combination skin, it contains a cocktail of skin loving
vitamins, minerals and essential oils to help gently purify and clean your
skin, leaving you with a smooth, flawless complexion.
The product itself is
slightly grey-green in colour thanks to the French Green Clay which draws out
impurities and is a light, gel texture.
Applied to damp skin
it foams ever so lightly and its beautiful aroma envelops your senses.
Black Pepper promotes
circulation, Sandalwood combats areas of sensitivity, Jasmine soothes &
restores while Frankincense encourages healthy cell growth for firmer,
porcelain-smooth skin.
It smells gorgeous!
Once rinsed off my
skin if left feeling soft and smooth and smelling gorgeous.
Despite containing
clay I didn’t notice my skin feeling dry or tight after use but my skin did
feel slightly firmer, though perhaps I imagined that?
The cleanser does
help to tighten pores and exfoliate so perhaps it wasn’t just my imagination.
After 2 weeks of
using this cleanser twice a day I’m happy to say that my skin is looking pretty
damn good.
I’d go as far to say
that I think it has helped control my oily t-zone and any zits that I have had,
seem to have gone far quicker than perhaps they would have normally.
This is the kind of
cleanser that I look forward to using every day because I view it as a bit of a
treat for both my skin, and my senses.
Sunday Riley’s Ceramic Slip Cleanser is available now for £35 from Cult Beauty.
I really want to try this!! I've tried their facial oils and I think there amazing so this may be my next purchase! Lovely post xx
