Urban Decay Naked Honey has dropped and its everything I hoped
it would be!
Perfect for the upcoming winter months and dare I say it,
party season (sorry!), this rich,
sweet and warm palette contains 12 beautiful shades which allow you to create
everything from light-hearted day looks to seductive and deep evening eyes.
This golden neutral palette features classic golds, warm
ambers and rich chocolate brows along with soft nudes and stunning bronzes.
Housed within a decadent and rich honey hued box, its
impossible to miss the nod to 70s nostalgia, both in terms of the bold, curved ‘honey’
font and also the statement shades within.
Complete with a mirrored lid and cruelty free, super soft
double ended brush, you’ve got everything you need in one place to create a
beautiful eye.
So, lets take a look at the all important shades!
Flyby is the
first in the palette and is a soft, matte cream colour. Finely milled and silky
to apply it creates a flawless base.
Sweet Is a small step up from Flyby in colour with
its matte, beige hue while Swarm
offers a more sandy coloured matte.
Amber is the
first metallic in the palette, a sparkling and vibrant golden orange that just
screams 70’s glam! Keeper, a matte
rich sandy shade compliments Amber brilliantly while Golden offers the ultimate in metallic gold.
Equally captivating is Honey,
with its yellow gold tones while Queen
signals the beginning of richer tones with its metallic taupe.
The soft, matte, natural brown of Hive sits alongside the warm bronze mattE of Drip, before HBIC (my favourite shade) blows everything out
of the water with its beautiful metallic gold.
Sting completes
this diverse, rich and warming palette with its deep, matte, rich chocolate
brown, leaving a palette which contains a complete and comprehensive selection
of shades to compliment, contrast, dazzle and delight.
The mattes are beautifully silky soft and blend like a dream
while the metallic are wonderfully pigmented, rich and glide across your lids
like silk.
There are such a fab array of shades that the possibilities
are almost endless when it comes to creating looks and I just love the
intensity of colour that the metallics bring.
Urban Decay Naked Honey is available now and costs £42.
