Toothpaste. Not the
most interesting beauty or health product but an essential which we use daily (or at least I hope you all use daily!)
I’ve never given what
toothpaste I use much thought to be honest. They’re all pretty much the same, minty
thing, aren’t they.
Well, you can imagine
both my delight and my horror when I found this on the Spoiled Brat website.
An toothpaste which
tastes like cupcakes. An actual, real toothpaste. Which tastes like cupcakes.
Yeah.
On the one hand this
goes against everything I think that a toothpaste should be and on the other,
It sounds simply edible!
In reality, it is
both!
Firstly, let me make
this clear. This paste tastes INCREDIBLE. It is sweet and sugary with a yummy hint
of vanilla. It is slightly grainy in texture, but this is the only thing about
it (and the fact that it is in a
toothpaste tube, obviously) that reminds
you that this is in fact something that should be used to clean your teeth. Not
just something that you should just squeeze into your mouth and devour at will.
Given how much I
loved the taste of this to eat, the thought of brushing my teeth with it
freaked me out!
It doesn’t froth as
much as a regular, minty, non edible paste would, but my teeth still felt clean
after using it, though the feeling of sweetness in my mouth rather than fresh
mint was a weird sensation!
Annoyingly (although appropriate if this product is
used as intended, on your teeth rather than as food) I can’t seem to find any
information anywhere on the nutritional content to figure out how many calories
are in this paste.
IF it is low calorie
I reckon this could be the holy grail of products for dieters missing their
sugary treats. It gives you that sugary hit you crave while cleaning your
teeth, helping to ease cravings.
I’m not a dentist so
I also cant verify if there are are actually any ingredients within it that are
good for your teeth, or of this product is intended purely for novelty
purposes.
To be honest, I don’t
really care.
I think it’s a
wonderfully weird present and if you don’t mind, I must go and brush my teeth,
again, for the 12th time today. Mnnnnnn.
You can buy this
Cupcake Toothpaste at Spoilt Brat and it costs £5.50.
I think if I got this my girls would be in the bathroom brushing their teeth all day....lol Love it x

ReplyDeletetoothpaste tablets with fluoride Wow, cool post. I'd like to write like this too - taking time and real hard work to make a great article... but I put things off too much and never seem to get started. Thanks though.
