Angelina Jolie as Disney Villian Maleficent

The Walt Disney Studios announced today that production has begun on “Maleficent,” starring Academy Award® winning actress Angelina Jolie.

Maleficent  is the untold story of one of Disney’s most beloved villain, Maleficent, from the 1959 classic “Sleeping Beauty.” 

Today i bring to you, the first ever image of Angelina as the iconic character

The film is set to reveal the events that hardened her heart and drove her to curse the baby, Aurora.

Sleeping beauty is one of my all time favourite Disney films and I’m beyond excited to see and hear more about this film!

Scheduled for release on March 14th 2014, you've quite a wait, but i recon it'll be well worth it!

Today see’s the launch of the official music video for Katy Perry’s single ‘Wide Awake’ the final chapter from Teenage Dream: The complete Confection.

 This one is far darker 

And I’m not just talking about her hair colour

 Set in a stunning labyrinth the Fairy-Tale-esq video sees Katy journey through the threatening, impossible maze to come out the other side victorious and happy, after facing various trials and disturbing imagery throughout .

 

I have to say, I didn’t think i would, but I love the gothic look she’s rocking in this video with the emphasis on her Smoky eyes and deep coloured, plum lippie.

 As always, her skin looks luminous but is also beautifully matte with just a very subtle hint of blush.

Upon emerging unscathed and victorious from the dark depths of the labyrinth with a younger version of herself, Katy’s make up is transformed.

 Say hello to a natural, girly look with pale pink lipglossed lips, a slick of mascara and delicately lined eyes. 

She completes her transformation from vampish goth into pretty flower lady with stunning, intricate little flowers on her skin tone nails which have the tips coloured in pastel blue's, yellow's, green's and pink's.

The girl loves her M.A.C Make up!

Can you share with us one of your top secret beauty tips?

I swear by MAC Wipes because there a real life saver after a big night out, I leave them by the side of my bed so i always remember to take my make up off before i fall to sleep.

Sudocrem is also a great one its amazing on spots and sorts out all sorts including dry skin and is so reasonable to buy.

When do you feel most beautiful?

When i have a planned outfit for a night out and have given myself enough time to have my hair and make up done.

Cara even managed to look gorgeous after running the London Marathon this year!

What Make up brands do you love?

MAC is my ultimate favourite. I'm forever parading around MAC Stores searching for new products and Illamasqua - I also absolutely love that brand.

Do you have a beauty Icon?

My beauty icon would have to be Elizabeth Taylor. She is old school glamour. She had the most amazing brows back in the day.

Have you ever had a beauty disaster?

When i was younger i never used to use a foundation brush to apply my foundation so it always used to slide off half way through the day. Now when i look back at old pictures i think ''What were you thinking''?

What was the best beauty advice you have ever been given?

Always keep your face out of the sun and wear an SPF at all times. The oldest, most beautiful, stay that way.

You recently admitted to undergoing liposuction- why did you decide to have this done?

I've always had hang ups about my body, i think every girl probably does.

I've never wanted to be skinny, i do love being a curvy girl, i just had stubborn fat in stubborn areas that i just could not budge. 

Going forward with the SmartLipo MPX performed by Dr.Ayoubi was a good choice and I'm really happy with my body now.

How does it look and feel now?

I look more toned and smooth. The scars are so small that you cant even notice them like a 2cm horizontal line.

Would you consider having anymore surgery?

I would never say never. I would expect that once having children I will want to have my boobs re-done.

What advice would you give to someone considering cosmetic surgery?

Find out everything you need to know about the cosmetic surgery you're looking at having.

Choose a surgeon you have heard good things about and then look into their work. Make sure you are making the right decision, don't just jump into it. 

You always look stunning on TOWIE. Where do you get all your fantastic, glam dresses from?

I tend to buy both designer and high street and mix them up.

Beach Bound Brits Beauty Habits

 

New research released today reveals that nearly half of Brits would rather stay at home than go on a beach holiday without thorough preparation to ensure they were body beautiful. 

 

The survey, commissioned by TV and online retailer QVC to celebrate its June Beauty Month, quizzed 2,000 British adults on their summer beauty habits and revealed that they spend up to three working days preparing their bodies for a beach holiday and that nearly half of women wouldn't step onto the beach without wearing make-up.

Don’t get me wrong, I love my make up, but I’d never wear it on a beach! No sooner than i put it on  it would melt off!
Some of the pre-holiday beauty treatments that Brits confessed to investing in to ensure they look their best on the beach include getting a haircut, having a wax and giving themselves a cute mani and pedi.

 Others ensure that they have luscious lashes by getting them tinted and having extensions, while others chose to invest in a personal trainer!

 Whilst 71 per cent of women admitted to making an effort in preparation for a holiday to keep themselves happy, 37 per cent confessed that it was to impress their partners whilst they were away.

 

It’s easy to see how women can be influenced into thinking there is a certain way one should look while on the beach.

You only have to open up any woman’s magazine to see a photos of a plethora of celebs enjoying their beach holidays, looking stunning in an array of gorgeous bikinis, but which celebs do the British public think look best on the beach?

Ranked number one is Kelly Brook followed by Elle-the-body-McPherson.

 

 Louise Redknapp and Kim Kardashian are ranked third and fourth, with Colleen Rooney and Liz Hurley coming in fifth and sixth.

Personally, Kim K does it for me. 

Think what you like about her, but id give my right (and probably my left) arm to have her figure!

Lady Gaga's Debut Fragrance: Fame

Photos of Lady Gaga’s eagerly awaited fragrance have been leaked online!

Lady Gaga: ''And here it is! The first official photograph of my perfume. It's called FAME. The First Ever Black Eau De Parfum.''

 Gaga took to her Twitter and Facebook page last night to post photos of her fragrance ' Lady Gaga Fame' and said;

Looks like photos of my perfume are being leaked. Oh you fashion editors I could just crinkle my hands at you!

She then posted 2 photos of the perfume including details of what it actually smells like;

One of the most unique things about this fragrance is the fact that it is black!

 The EDP is a black fluid which becomes clear on application! 

But then you wouldn't expect anything less than spectacular from Gaga would you!

If that wasn’t unique enough, the black to clear fragrance does not consist of the typical pyramidal structure of top, middle and base notes.

Rather, it uses a unique structure called push-pull technology, where the ingredients interact together to highlight different aspects of each note at the same time.

 The scent is built around three main accords: dark, sensual and light, consisting of honey, saffron and apricot nectar as well as tiger orchid and jasmine sambac; the star ingredient is inspired by Belladonna.

Personally, I can’t wait to see what it looks and smells like up close!
