Treat yourself to an at home exfoliating facial with Murad’s new Vita-C Triple Exfoliating Facial.
This hard working but gentle triple exfoliating treatment is proven to smooth texture as effectively as a microdermabrasion facial in just one use.
Housed within a sleek, vibrant orange tube you’ll find an impressive combination of physical, chemical and enzymatic exfoliants which together gently yet thoroughly remove dead skin cells and reinvigorate a dull, tired looking complexion for instantly smoother skin.
Suitable for all skin types, the jewel in the ingredient crown is gold-stabilised Vitamin C.
Boasting 55% more antioxidant powder than traditional Vitamin C, it delivers higher antioxidant defence, is bioavailable for increased absorption and the unique formula ensures the stability and potency of the Vitamin C, to dramatically brighten your skin.
In terms of the exfoliating element, you’ve got physical, micro-mineral exfoliants which remove dead surface cells, enzymatic exfoliators which dissolve oil debris and dull dead skin cells and chemical exfoliators in the form of glycolic, lactic (AHAs) and salicylic acids (BHA).
These chemical exfoliators help to gently exfoliate, brighten and purify your pores.
Designed to be used as a target treatment a couple of times a week, I was very excited to get my glow on with this bad boy.
I’ve found that of late I’ve turned primarily to chemical exfoliators as I feel that they do a fantastic job without irritating my sensitive skin, but Murad is a brand I trust so I wasn’t too concerned about the presence of physical exfoliators.
The product itself is thick and orange in colour when immediately removed from the tube.
When applied to clean, damp skin, you can both see and feel the exfoliating particles, however they are really tiny in size and the dense texture of the formula stops it from feeling too abrasive.
Massaged into your skin using circular motions, the formula gradually transforms from its soft orange hue to white to indicate sufficient physical exfoliation and even application has taken place.
At this point, leave the mask on your skin for 10 minutes before rinsing off with warm water.
Skin is immediately left feeling silky and soft without any tightness or the feeling of being stripped of moisture.
As your skin has been so thoroughly prepped, it is ready to more efficiently drink in all the benefits from your serums and moisturisers, resulting in a plumper, firmer, more radiant looking complexion.
At £67 a bottle it is not cheap, however neither are exfoliating facials at a salon and with this tube of sunshine you’ll get repeated uses and prolonged benefits.
Bravo Murad, this has to be without a doubt the crème-de-la-crème of exfoliating treatments!
Murad’s Vita-C Triple Exfoliating Facial is available now and costs £67.
