TULA, meaning ‘balance’
in Sanskrit is a clinically effective skincare range powered by probiotic
extracts and superfoods that aims to restore natural skin balance through
powerhouse science-backed formulas.
The brand was founded
by board certified Dr Roshini Raj, a practicing gastroenterologist who has been
studying probiotics for 20 years.
In TULA, she has

Now I for one really
appreciate such transparency and honesty.
Before I begin, can I
draw attention to the gorgeously uncomplicated but wonderfully aesthetically
pleasing packaging design.
Sleek and created for
precise dispensing and hygiene, the products are wrapped in a beautiful,
calming soft blue hue with sweet violet and clean white tones.
Instantly
recognisable, these colours run throughout the entirety of the collection,
which does make distinguishing products from different skincare concern
families difficult to differentiate from others, but I actually really like the
continuity of the packaging.
It reinforces the
ethos and reassures you that each and every product adheres to the same core
values of the brand.
Now, onto a few of
their products.
Up first is TULA’s So
polished exfoliating sugar scrub (£30).
Named the Best Facial

both physical and chemical exfoliators to gently buff and polish your skin to reveal
a brighter, softer complexion.

I think it’s also worth
mentioning that despite suffering with sensitive skin, I actually found that
the physical sugar exfoliants didn’t irritate, scratch or scrape my skin,
unlike some other exfoliants.
Next is TULA’s Beauty
sleep overnight repair treatment (£59).
I have to say from
the off, I’ve found myself totally obsessed by this night cream for various
reasons, but its soft subtle scent and luxurious yet deceptively lightweight
texture are just two examples of why I’ve fallen in love with it.
I’m not at all
surprised to discover I am not alone in my praise for this moisturiser as it received
the Zoe Report’s 2021 editor approved award for Best Night Cream and I’m
