I love a natural eyeshadow palette. I find them brilliant
for creating subtle daytime looks as well as being fab at producing really
distinctive and seductive night-time eye.
For these very reasons, one of my favourite palettes in the
Too Faced Matte Chocolate Chip Eyeshadow Palette.
I think I love pretty
much everything about this super-cute palette, from its eye catching
chocolate-bar inspired packaging to the glorious shades within.
Infused with antioxidant-rich cocoa powder, this palette (as you may imagine) smells absolutely
delectable!
It is a treat for not just your eyes but for your sense of
smell too as the sweet, delicate and delicious aroma of chocolate envelopes you
upon opening the palette.
Oh yes. These eyeshadows smell like chocolate! How amazing
is that!
Once you’ve gotten over the yummy scent it times to fall in
love with the 11 beautiful shades housed within the sleek, compact palette.
You have everything from natural browns, delicate pinks,
subtle nudes and luscious plums, all in a soft matte finish.
You’re gonna love the choice of names for each shade too,
check these out;
White Chocolate
Matte Gilded Ganache
Triple Fudge
Matte Marzipan
Semi-Sweet
Strawberry Bon Bon
Matte Candied Violet
Matte Hazelnut
Matte Creme Brulee
Matte Cherry Cordial
Matte Champagne Truffle
Each shade name is a great representation of the colour it
refers to and continues on the sweet-like-chocolate theme.
As for the shadows themselves, I found them to be
beautifully soft to touch and super silky to apply.
Highly pigmented and finely milled, they are great for
building colour and impact and blend brilliantly.
I’m a big fan of matte shadows, particularly for day wear
where sparkle and shine can be a bit OTT and the cute compact size of the
palette is perfect for popping in even the smallest of bags allowing you to
adjust and top up your look throughout the day.
The Too Faced Matte Chocolate Chip Eyeshadow Palette is available
now and retails at £22 but if you hot foot it over to Debenhams you’ll
currently find it on offer for a bargainous £15.40.
Wow that's such a bargain. Might be heading over to Debenhams now for a cheeky purchase... xx
ReplyDeleteAw I think I like this palette better than the original Chocolate Bar palette because all the shades in this one are wearable! There were a few in the other chocolate bars that I didn't like, hence I never picked it up. But this one is more tempting for me!
