Samina Pure Make up Eye Shadow

I have another fab find for all you mineral make up loving lovelies out there.

The Samina Pure range is formulated using healthy mineral foundations and powders that are naturally FREE from, animal products, Harsh Chemicals, talc, bismuth oxychloride, mineral oil (and its derivatives), paraben preservatives, alcohol, petroleum derived ingredients, fillers, lanolin or any other animal products.

Sounds good eh?

I tested out two of their eye shadows to see if as well as being free of all these nasty chemicals, that they actually delivered on their description (see below):

Samina Pure Makeup eye shadows are 100% natural, just pure crushed minerals with intense pigments to make the colours bolder and more striking so they last all day (and night!). They go on smooth and evenly to provide beautiful coverage for natural or dramatic eyes and give long-lasting continuous wear without creasing or fading.

The verdict? They did.

I tested the gorgeous soft petal and emerald gems and was really impressed.

The shadow is incredibly highly pigmented and creates a gorgeous shimmery look.

At £11 each they may sound a little pricey, but its not just the quality of the colours you are paying for but the quality of the crushed minerals which you know are not full of any harmful little nasties.

The shadows are available in thirteen colours~ Eid moon, beautiful earth, heavenly bronze, grape, snowflake, metal, Arabian nights, shimmering stars, soft petal, sparkling teal, emerald gems, eternal blossom and gracious plum and are available from http://saminapuremakeup.co.uk/

  3. At a price like this I can kind of see why people prefer to pick up products which may contain the products listed...but its good to have an alternative which is so heavily pigmented. You bought some lovely shades!
