Kiehl’s Pure Vitality Skin Renewing Cream

I Love this product.

This bad boy is 99.6% naturally derived and helps your skin to renew itself and improve resilience for smoother texture and a more youthful appearance.

It contains Red Ginseng Root and Manuka Honey to increase vibrancy and help to build a stronger skin barrier.

Native to Korea, Red Ginseng Root has been used for thousands of years in traditional Asian medicine. Growing conditions and cultivation methods in Korea yield an incredibly powerful ginseng in terms of biological activity and medicinal properties versus all other ginseng species.

New Zealand Manuka Honey is a dark creamy monofloral honey which is valued for its strong medicinal properties.

As you may be able to see from its peaks in the photos, the cream is thick and is actually almost the texture of gel which is probably why it agrees with my skin so much.

It is rich and nourishing yet also lightweight and is absorbed into your skin really quickly leaving no trace other than soft and smooth skin.

It has a soft, pleasant, earthy scent and a little goes a long way so go easy on application!

I’ve been using this cream for about a month now and I’m really impressed with the results.

My skin feels extremely soft and nourished but not clogged and heavy. I’ve had no breakouts and it leaves a lovely smooth base for my make up too.

Kiehl’s Pure Vitality Skin Renewing Cream is available now and costs £49.

Alien Musc Mysterieux

Alien Musc Mysterieux is the stunning, second creation in the Alien Oriental Collection.

Inspired by the classic oriental scent of Musc, this powerful and unique scent features jasmine and cashmere, the familiar signatures notes of Alien and merges them with white musk, vanilla and spices.

Housed within a seriously eye-catching  and futuristic bottle which has been created to reflect the luxury of white gold, everything about this scent shouts decadence.

The fragrance is said to be “an invitation to travel on a journey that highlights and enhances musk, one of the noblest ingredients in perfumery."

I find this perfume overwhelming, both in terms of its presentation and its powerful scent.

I ADORE its bottle which actually reminds me of a tigers eye crystal thanks to the bottles beautiful shades. This would make sense given that the original Alien scent is housed in an amethyst inspired bottle.

It comes presented beautifully in a silver box which opens to reveal its own red carpet, or rather a purple one, hinting at just how special this perfume is.

Musc Mysterieux is an intoxicating, powerful and heady fragrance.

It is really strong so you do only need to use it sparingly but its scent lasts for hours!

I personally find the initial experience overwhelming but once it has been on my skin for around 30 minutes, I adore its soft, warm and exotic aroma.

The price reflects its unique and provocative powers as it costs £115 for 90ml, but you won’t find another fragrance like it.

Alien Musc Mysterieux is available now from Selfridges and Mugler.co.uk.

Vince Camuto Fiori

Fiori by Vince Camuto has to be one of the most beautifully presented fragrances that I’ve ever laid eyes on.

I mean, come on. Just look at it!

As yes I know I know, never judge a book by its cover, or a fragrance by its bottle but you’re gonna be expecting something a bit special when it is captured in such a stunning vessel.

Inspired by the blossoming delphiniums in Vince Camuto's personal garden, Fiori is a fresh, invigorating fragrance that exudes elegance.

I absolutely adore everything about the way this perfume is presented and the bottle is simply stunning.

The minimalistic, chic glass bottle is dressed with a simple powder pink bow, a complete contrast to the intricate details of the rose gold lid and tag.

It is eye-catching, pretty and hello, ROSE gold! Love this!

Fiori itself features top notes of luscious pink grapefruit and ripened white nectarine while the heart  reveals sheer iris and dewy freesia.

Base notes of rich sandalwood and creamy blonde cedarwood round of the scent, leaving a light and refreshing fragrance.

I had never heard of Vince Camuto fragrances before and had no idea what to expect with this perfume but I was really pleasantly surprised.

It’s actually a rather perfect scent for the forthcoming summer months thanks to its freshness and wearability.

You try Vince Camuto’s Fiori for yourself now from Debenhams where 100ml costs £60.
