Bronnley Iris & Wild Cassis

Iris and Wild Cassis is the gorgeous new fragrance from British brand Bronnley.

Alluring, rich and sultry the new scent features a sultry blend of notes that together create a luxurious and velvety fragrance. 

Housed within a simple yet chic glass bottle the vessel is adorned with the images of a beautiful Iris flower.

Created by the award winning botanical artist Helen Campbell the image captures perfectly the mood of the fragrance within.

As its name would suggest sultry Iris takes the center stage with this fragrance with supporting notes of tuberose and jasmine.

Rich cassis and plum blend with star anis and pink pepper to add a spicy and warm element to the scent while patchouli and notes of dark chocolate and roasted coffee beans create a dark and deep experience.

I love that the scent is predominately floral but adore the way that the coffee, chocolate and peppery notes add a deeper, delicious element to the overall fragrance. 

It is a fragrance that is perfect for the forthcoming autumnal and wintery months, a darker scent than you might wear in summer.

 

The best thing about this fragrance? If you love it you’re able to indulge in an entire range of products in its beguiling scent.

Vince Camuto Fiori

Fiori by Vince Camuto has to be one of the most beautifully presented fragrances that I’ve ever laid eyes on.

I mean, come on. Just look at it!

As yes I know I know, never judge a book by its cover, or a fragrance by its bottle but you’re gonna be expecting something a bit special when it is captured in such a stunning vessel.

Inspired by the blossoming delphiniums in Vince Camuto's personal garden, Fiori is a fresh, invigorating fragrance that exudes elegance. 

 I absolutely adore everything about the way this perfume is presented and the bottle is simply stunning. 

The minimalistic, chic glass bottle is dressed with a simple powder pink bow, a complete contrast to the intricate details of the rose gold lid and tag.

It is eye-catching, pretty and hello, ROSE gold! Love this!

Fiori itself features top notes of luscious pink grapefruit and ripened white nectarine while the heart  reveals sheer iris and dewy freesia.

 

Base notes of rich sandalwood and creamy blonde cedarwood round of the scent, leaving a light and refreshing fragrance.

I had never heard of Vince Camuto fragrances before and had no idea what to expect with this perfume but I was really pleasantly surprised.

 

It’s actually a rather perfect scent for the forthcoming summer months thanks to its freshness and wearability.

Stella McCartney L.I.L.Y ABSOLUTE

L.I.L.Y ABSOLUTE is the latest fragrance from Stella McCartney.

Framed in gold, L.I.L.Y ABSOLUTE is a sensual, sophisticated and very personal fragrance.

The fragrance comes from Stella’s love of contracts; masculine and feminine, dark and light and it certainly comes across in the smell!

Woody notes are contrasted with floral ones to create a deep scent.

I view this fragrance as being a bit like Marmite- you’ll either love it or you won’t.

Notes of black truffle and black pepper give way to lily of the valley and pink pepper, then dry white woods, patchouli and amber.

There is no denying that the bottle is exquisite, a work of art almost, inspired by English cut-crystal vases with a modern twist.

Now, at £58.50 for 50ml this a relatively expensive fragrance.

If you are a fan of the original L.I.L.Y I highly recommend you try L.I.L.Y ABSOLUTE. If you are a fan of delicate, non-committal fragranced I’d give it a miss.

This fragrance has been designed for a confident, modern woman, so if that’s you, this perfume is for you.
