Nails.INC I Like You A Choco-Lot

My name is Sarah and I’m self-confessed Chocaholic.

For me, chocolate makes everything better. Feeling sad? Have some chocolate? Feeling chilly? Have a hot chocolate. Feeling tired? Have an injection of sugar to keep you going, in the form of chocolate.

You get the gist- In short, Chocolate is always there for you!

Now, I never thought that I wanted or needed this, but when I saw that Nails.INC had launched a collection of chocolate scented nail polishes, I simply had to ty them.

It was simply non negotiable!

Nails.INC I Like You A Choco-Lot Nail Polish Quad (£22) comprises of four decadent, ultra-rich  chocolate inspired polishes.

Each polish has been created with the impressive Nails.INC longwear formula and features their patented, wide hugging brush for a flawless, precision application.

Simply divine to regard, each shade is scented in sweet, creamy, aromatic chocolate and features an indulgent ganache high shine finish.

‘I’m Dairy In Love’ offers an on trend, creamy soft nude while ‘Bean Around The World’ features a classic 60% milk chocolate shade.

A warm brown, it is  beautifully rich, sweet shade.

By contrast, ‘Don’t Be Bitter’ is a deep, dark 80% cocoa shade.

More intense like a dark chocolate, it is a cooler, bolder shade.

Finally we have my favourite shade, ‘Everyday I’m Truffling’.

This dazzling polish offers a liquid gold glint with a salted caramel shimmer.

Soft, delectable and with a rich shimmer it is a really beautiful shade.

Upon application the polishes smell like any regular lacquer, however once they are dry you can definitely notice a soft, subtle and sweet aroma of your favourite treat.

It is a fab extra touch but its not that alone which makes this set so stunning.

The shades are gorgeous and the formula is fantastic for creating long lasting, high shine nails that scream to be noticed.

The sumptuous hues are perfect for reflecting the colours of autumn and for getting you in the mood for warm, cosy days inside.

Nails.INC I like You A Choco-Lot nail polish set is available now and costs £22.

Vino Scented Nail Wraps

So, you’ve most likely heard of nail wraps. You know, those fabulously decorated and fancy things that look like stickers which you heat and stick to your nails to create a look which would otherwise be impossible to do freehand.

You will have probably also heard of scented nail varnish- indeed i blogged about Revlon’s ones here.

But have you heard about scented nail wraps?

No? Well thats because the first ever one has just been launched.

Gallo Family Vineyards (Yep, those makers of the rosé wine you guzzle down after a hard day at work) and SphinX Nail Wraps have teamed up to create the world’s first scented nail wrap.

The wraps are a limited edition item to adorn nails, scented with the aromas found in the new Gallo Merlot Rosé wine, including ripe plum, blueberry and hints of cranberry.

You apply the wrap as you would do any normal nail wrap except when the surface of the pink patterned nail is lightly rubbed, the fruity fragrance is released.

SphinX limited edition scented nail wrap is priced at £5.95 and are available from their website here.

Whatever will they think of next?

Bottoms up!

Berry Beautiful

Friday 8th July and it is miserable and raining in London town. So much for summer! To cheer myself up I decided to brighten up my day by trying out a new nail colour. I’m loving the pastel shades that are currently out which have been inspired by the SS11 catwalks as mentioned here,  so  I decided to go for a lovely lilac polish by Barry M, number 308 Berry.

Initially the varnish goes on really streaky, but after a second coat it looks lovely, vibrant and shiny.

At least I can look at my hands today and feel colourful and radiant!

Varnish yourself Pretty!

Nail varnish is brilliant for a multitude of different reasons, not least because it allows you to chop and change the colour as often as you like to suit your mood, an occasion or even to reflect the seasons.
With that in mind I wanted to tell you about two brand new varnish releases perfect for the upcoming summer months which you wont want to miss out on.

First is Nails Inc Candy Shop Collection, a set of 4 beautiful new pastel colours inspired by the SS11 catwalk shows and named Wimbledon, Cambridge, Oxford and Richmond. The colours are the perfect way to instantly update your look and channel the world of Haut Couture, but on a shoe string budget of either £25 for the set or £11 per polish. The Collection Launches in July 2011.

The second Varnish product is Revlons new Scents of Summer collection. They have launched a gorgeous collection of nail enamel infused with a variety of different ‘summer’ themed scents such as Peach, Coconut, Mango and Papaya. As if nail varnishes couldn’t get any better they now smell amazing too! This idea of scented products takes me back to my school days when scented pens first came out and it was a race to see who could collect the most amounts of different fragrances first! They sure did make your homework smell great, and as these varnishes are only available for a limited time until August 2011, I suggest that you grab and collect them all now before they go!
