Missoni Eau De Parfum

Missoni have launched their new fragrance for women and it’s stunning!

The fragrance has been dedicated to a “sensual, exuberant woman whose femininity stands out, a curious woman who is at the centre of her present, who lives outside of convention and preconceived ideas, a woman who is confident and wears this fragrance like a dress.”

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this fashion brand in the way of a scent but I was very surprised, by both its look and its aroma.

Before I go into what it actually smells like can we just take a moment to appreciate the beauty that is this bottle.

Created in glass with soft, fluid hues, the bottle is mesmerizingly beautiful and both contemporary and timeless, just like Missoni’s style.

The bottle features soft shades of pink, blues and turquoise, rolling into one another to create a bottle that looks very much like a precious stone in my opinion.

I find it somewhat mesmerising and I love the gold cuff detail around the neck of the bottle with MISSONI printed on it in black.

Now, with a bottle as unique as this I was expecting a very heavy, distinctive scent which may be a little overpowering, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Top notes of Lemon, Bergamot, Cedar, Pomme d’Amour and Pear create a somewhat fresh first impression before heart notes of Mahonial, Petalia and Jasminum Sambac reign in the fresh and create a deeper, more sophisticated aroma.

Finally base notes of Ambra, Tonka Bean and Sandalwood round the scent off perfectly revealing a floral yet fruity and woody scent that smells better the longer its on your skin.

It is definitely a sophisticated scent and balances the fruity and floral notes perfectly with the woody ones, allowing each element the chance to shine.

Missoni Eau de Parfum is a unique and graceful fragrance which is absolutely worth a try if you love a strong, distinctive scent.

You can find the Missoni EDP exclusively at Harrods from November 22nd where 30ml will cost £42, 50ml costs £60 and 100ml costs £80.
