Miss You Already starring Drew Barrymore and Toni
Collette finally hits cinemas next week on September 25th.
The film is a heart- warming and heart-breaking tale of
female friendship, loyalty and strength and follows two friends through the
highs and lows of life.
Milly (Toni Collette) and Jess (Drew Barrymore) have been
best friends forever. They've shared everything since they were kids - secrets,
clothes, laughs, substances, boyfriends... now they are trying to be grown-ups.
Milly has a high-flying job and lives in a beautiful townhouse with husband Kit
(Dominic Cooper) and their two kids. Jess is a town planner and she and her
boyfriend Jago (Paddy Considine) live on a bohemian houseboat on a London
canal. Their friendship is as rock solid as ever. That is until Jess struggles
to have a much longed-for baby and Milly finds out she has breast cancer.

ReplyDeleteMy bestie is Katie, who I met online. Sounds odd but we were on Twitter when we realised after some time, that we both suffer similar chronic illnesses. We have both lost friends because they didn't understand why we couldn't always make time for them etc. Now we keep in touch daily and through it all, we both have a stupid sense of humour! It helps! 😉
ReplyDeleteWe've known each other since we were 8 years old and although we drifted apart over the years, as can happen, circumstances brought us close again. I love that I can be myself with her 100%. We laugh about the same silly things. We provide support to one another. And she is so kind and I can always rely on her to be there if I need her.
ReplyDeleteMy best friend has been there for me for 12 years now. I know I can call her any time, day or night, and she'll always be there to listen, to care, and to offer a kind word and great advice. She's a splendid woman in every way.

ReplyDeleteShe's the most caring & kind person i've ever met & yet she's been through so much trauma . Always putting everyone before herself.

ReplyDeleteHello you. I've known my best friend Charlotte for 25 years, and I can't actually pin point one thing I love most about her. The fact that she gets absolutely everything I mean (including the fact we can communicate about other people solely through dark looks), is always there for me, usually with prosecco, when I need it and absolutely always have my back, even if we do still drive each other up the wall sometimes. She's my absolute polar opposite and she brings out the best in me, which is probably what all our other friends love best about her!
ReplyDeleteDuggers xx
I don't have one particular best friend and never really have; instead I have a circle of around 4-5 really, really close friends that mean the world to me. One is great for shopping, makeup and beauty products, another for going on long country walks with, a few are great for cocktails and gin & tonics on a Friday night and some of them share my passion for food and cooking. They each put a smile on my face in a completely different way.
