Two of my new
favourite body care products come from Elemis in the form of their Limited
Edition British Botanicals Shower Cream and Body Cream.
Packaged beautifully
in matching white tubes with shiny silver lids, these special creams feature a pretty floral illustration designed by Amanda Ross
which cleverly reflect some of the plant formulations from the range such as
Lavender, Chamomile, Geranium and Rosemary.
Both products harness
the power of ingredients grown in the British countryside to create an aromatic
and uplifting experience.
The shower cream is
absolutely divine!
It is a thick, rich
feeling cream which lathers ever so gently and really nourishes your skin while
you shower.
Blended with soothing
lavender, chamomile and geranium the omega rich Echium oil does a fabulous job
of keeping your skin feeling soft and hydrated while mineral and vitamin rich organic
oats and rosemary gently cleanse your skin.
My skin is really
sensitive and my body, my legs especially are prone to dryness and many showering
products leave my skin screaming for moisture after a shower. Not so with this
luxury shower cream; Instead, my skin felt soft and supple and by the way,
smelling absolutely amazing!
The Body Cream
features the same beautiful, relaxing and soothing scent as the shower cream
and is the perfect way to round off your bathing experience.
The cream is more of
a lotion in texture, in that it is rich but also very light which means that it
is absorbed into your skin really quickly but delivers some seriously good
moisturising!
Skin conditioning
Milk Proteins are thrown into the mix of the Echium oil and organic oats (like
those found in the shower gel) to create a deeply hydrating cream that
nourishes perfectly without leaving your skin feeling clogged, heavy or greasy.
Both products are an
absolute pleasure to use and I’ll be very upset when they disappear from our
shelves as I believe they are only a limited edition.
You can find the
Elemis British Botanicals Shower Cream and Body Cream from the Time To Spa website
now where they cost £24 and £25 respectively.
I've got a small tube each of these that came with a spa treatment. Both look and smell too good to use but I know I must.. soon
