This time last year Thierry Mugler launched its limited edition Summer 2014 fragrance, Angel Eau Sucree, and it was GOOOOOOOD. Really
good.
So you can imagine my
delight when the brand new Angel Eau Sucree for summer 2015 arrived in my lap!
It might share the
same name as its predecessor but this variation is both subtly and very
obviously, different from last year!
This bottle is super cute.
Packaged within a vintage-esq
candy striped boxed, the iconic Angel Star
lives up to its name (sucree in case you hadn’t
gathered!) as it appears to have
been dipped in sugar!
Frosted glints adorn its points, transforming it into an
irresistible looking treat!
While the bottle may look very different, the fragrance
retains many of the same sweet, addictive notes as last year’s offering.
Caramelized meringue, patchouli and vanilla offer the familiar
sweet, warm, soft notes we all associate with the Angel brand but this time the
fruity notes really pack a punch!
Tangy red berries offer a sparkling contrast to the sweet notes,
lightening the fragrance and giving it a fresher, fruity all round experience.
Its really, really nice, and if you find the original Angel
a bit too heavy, I think you’ll love the fruitier, lighter Angel Eau Sucree which
is perfect for summer.
The limited edition
Angel Eau Sucree will be available from May 1st and will cost £45
for 50ml.
