Organic Surge Million Dollar Brown Sugar Body Polish

It is the Queen of all body polishes.

Organic brown sugar crystals help to polish away dead and dry skin cells while a delectable blend of natural and organic oils work to lock moisture back into your skin, leaving you feeling revived and invigorate.

Upon opening the gorgeous pot, you are met with the sweet aroma of a mix of brown sugar, sweet orange and bergamot.

You may notice that to begin with the oils sit on top of the scrub, so before you use it give it a little mix so the sugar and oils are all mixed in together.

In the shower (or bath), massage the polish onto your wet skin and then rinse off.

Your skin will feel nourished and soft.

Tip:  Don’t rub yourself dry vigorously with your towel or you will take off all of the precious oils left on your skin. Pat yourself dry gently instead.

Your skin will be left feeling wonderfully pampered and you will be left feeling happy in the knowledge that your purchase has helped someone else because Organic Surge donates $1 for every Million Dollar product sold to charity.

You can find out more about this here.

Organic Surge Million Dollar Brown Sugar Body Polish costs £32 for 400g and is available from their website.

Moa The Green Balm

I love multi use products and given that we are in a huge recession, anything that I can use for more than just 1 purpose is going to go down well in my books.

Moa the green balm is one of those amazing multi use products.

I came across a little pot of Moa in a GlossyBox way back when, but only recently got around to using it.

I wish I’d found it sooner as it’s now one of my staple skincare products that i cannot be without!
Moa, the green balm is a 100% natural balm crammed full of loads of amazing ingredients including beeswax, coconut, sweet almond and soy bean oil, but it’s its two main ingredients that help create the magic.

Organic Yarrow is a herb renowned for its nourishing and healing properties and Tea Tree Oil is one of natures powerful antiseptic’s, and when combined together the yarrow creates a wonderful healing balm with endless therapeutic properties.

Seriously, the list of its possible uses is HUGE, but here’s just a few;

·         Sooth dry and itchy skin such as eczema and psoriasis
·         Treat cold sores and chapped lips
·         Helps heal minor cuts, bruises, grazes and burns
·         Helps calm sunburnt or frostbitten skin
·         Mix with hot water and gargle to soothe a sore throat
·         Apply to red, sore nostrils if your suffering with a cold
·         Apply to skin to calm after shaving
·         Apply to stings or bites to help soothe and heal

Ok so that’s just a few of the possible uses for this wonder balm, but I use it for the following purposes;

·         To give my skin a little extra treat when it’s dry, I slather the balm on my face, leave for 15 minutes and remove with a cloth.
·         I love using the balm on my hands and cuticles to leave them feeling smooth and nourished.
·         When I feel a pesky spot I dab a little of the balm onto the area- The tea tree oil is fab for problematic skin.

The balm melts onto your fingers and has an extremely delicate smell to it. It took me a while to figure out what it smelt like, but I suppose it's the smell of tea tree oil, which is refreshing and not at all unpleasant.

It is also very slightly green in colour, though barely noticeable (hense the 'green balm' part of it's name I suppose)

The guys at Moa have recently introduced yet another additional use for the balm, as a cleanser, complete in a little cleansing set and I cant believe I hasn’t thought to use it this way before!

Melt a small amount of the balm between your fingers and apply onto your face before you wet it.

Massage into your face, remembering to rub some into your eye make up as it’ll remove that too.

Dip the cotton face cloth into warm water, wring out and press to your face to steam away the oil and dirt, grime and impurities, leaving your face clean and refreshed.

Finish with a cold compress to tone and close pores.
