Nicki Minaj Pink Friday: Review

Minaj fans, it’s finally here!

Meet Pink Friday, Nicki’s debut fragrance.

Described as an Intoxicating Floral Musk, it is nothing like I thought it would smell.

It is far sweeter than I imagined, on a par almost with Britney Spears Fantasy I’d say.

Yes, perhaps the saccharine-pink packaging should have been a bit of a giveaway, along with the unique, bizarre but undoubtedly stunning bottle, but it still surprised me.

Notes of starfruit, mandarin, vanilla and caramelized pear bask in the warmth of musks and woods to create a sweet, but not instantly recognizable fragrance.

It is a bit ‘samey’- cute and pleasant, but for me, not AMAZING.

In my opinion, the best thing about this fragrance is the bottle, and the price, which I thought was really reasonable.

It is so unique and so Nicki and I really do love my barbz (what Nicki has affectionally called her Barbie-esq bottle)

Complete with her trademark pink hair and lips, the deluxe size bottle even features an original NICKI MINAJ nameplate necklace.

Nicki Minaj Pink Friday is available now and costs a very reasonable £39 for 100ml, £29 for 50ml and £24 for 30ml.

Nicki Minaj Pink Friday Fragrance

Nicki Minaj is set to become the latest star to venture into the saturated yet lucrative world of celebrity fragrances

Pink Friday, named after her debut album is said to be a fragrance that in her own words, smells like 'angels playing'.

At this moment I almost don’t care what it smells like, I’m far more intrigued by its bottle!

It basically looks like a mini Minaj, and I love it!

Well, you didn’t expect her to do anything by halves did you?

So, what do you think of Nicki's Pink Friday

Do you love or loathe the look of it?

Have you had enough of celebrity fragrances or can you not get enough of them?
