Marc Jacobs Decadence Eau so Decadent

When I first saw the Marc Jacobs Decadence fragrance, I didn’t think it would ever be possible for them to top it.

So beautiful was the scent and so exquisite and luxurious was the bottle design, I figured that was it.
That was, until they launched Eau so Decadent and I fell in love even harder than before!

Marc Jacobs Eau so Decadent is a lighter, softer, fruitier take on the original yet just like its predecessor it retains all of the appeal of decadent luxury!

This vibrant new representation of glamour incorporates luxury and femininity within in its seductive nectar, offering unparalleled indulgence within each spray.

I absolutely adore the redesigned bottle which features a snakeskin cap with splashes of blush pink and teal, offering a contrast between light and dark.

A shortened gold chain wraps the clear, frosted bottle which allows the vibrant teal fragrance within to shine through in all its beauty.

It’s a truly show stopping bottle, the perfect balance of fragrance and fashion, but then what else would you expect from a legend such as Marc Jacobs!

Now, onto the scent itself.

Perfect for both day or evening wear the perfume opens with top notes of juicy nashi pear, sweet black currant and is balanced by green ivy to create a deliciously sweet and fresh opening.

Heart notes of pink lily of the valley, magnolia and intense jasmine offer a delicate and beautiful floral bouquet before base notes of white amber, cashmere woods and raspberry gloss create a warm yet sweet overall experience.

It is a beautifully soft, sweet, floral fragrance which I find totally addictive.

I feel like I’m holding a piece of art work when I gaze at the bottle and I absolutely adore the delicious and luxurious fragrance.

This could possibly be my favourite fragrance of the year.

Marc Jacobs Decadent Eau So Decadent is available now and costs £54 for 50ml.

Marc Jacobs Violet

Marc Jacobs Violet has to be without a doubt, one of the prettiest fragrances I have ever seen and I know they say never judge a book by its cover, or a fragrance by its bottle, but I mean, come on!

Just look at it!

This very special fragrance is a Limited Edition and is only available to buy from World Duty Free.

Now I’m not saying that you should book a holiday just so you can buy this little lovely, but if you are a huge Dot or Honey fan, you might actually want to consider it!

Violet belongs to the same line as Dot and Honey, which you may have guessed from the gorgeous pearlescent, butterfly details on the bottle and lid.

The bottle itself is a shimmering, iridescent purple, which is really hard to photograph by the way but looks just so very, very pretty.

I have to say, I expected the fragrance to be far more floral and possess stronger notes of Violet, given that that’s its name, but I was actually glad that that wasn’t the case.

Top notes of Bergamot, Green Apple and Kumquat are refreshingly sweet while mid notes of White Lily, Jasmine, Magnolia and Violet add a delicate, addictive floral quality to the scent.

Dry notes of Vanilla Bean, Precious Woods and Skin Musks round off the fragrance perfectly creating a gorgeous fruity-floral scent.

It is a fragrance that would be best described as soft, warm, creamy and just the right amount of sweet vs floral.

If like me you are already a die-hard Marc Jacobs fan then you are going to want this fragrance. If you love pretty things and aren’t a fan of super flowery or super sacchariney scents then it’s also the one for you!

So, make sure you leave enough time when you’re jetting off on your holibobs to go and check out Marc Jacobs Violet from World Duty Free because you’ll regret it if you forget!

Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Forever

Daisy Dream Forever is the stunning new fragrance from Marc Jacobs.

Inspired by eternal blue skies, Daisy Dream Forever is a unique and elegant addition to the Daisy Dream fragrance family.

It’s hard to express just how beautiful both this bottle and this fragrance is!

Let’s begin with the bottle.

Elegantly crafted, the bottle is the prettiest of blues and features lace-like, pastel blue frosted daisy details on the bottle’s curved shoulders.

The same sweet daisies adorn the domed, silver cap, creating a truly gorgeous bottle. It really catches your eye and stands out!

The fragrance itself is a deeper and richer scent in comparison to the original Daisy Dream but it still retains the same beautifully addictive, floral tones.

Top notes of Blackberry, Grapefruit and Pear offer a delicately sweet side to the fragrance while heart notes of Jasmine, Lychee and Blue Wisteria transform it into a more sophisticated, floral experience.

Base notes of White Woods, Musks and coconut water bring all of the notes together to create a beautifully well rounded, luxuriously floral and sophisticated fragrance.

I think it’s a pretty playful scent and perfect for Daisy Dream lovers who are after something a little more intense, plus let’s face it, who wouldn’t want this bottle on their dressing table?

Daisy Dream Forever eau de parfum is available now and costs £59 for 50ml.
