Bobbi Brown December Top Picks

This month I’m looking at some seriously hard working hero products from Bobbi Brown that can help to restore vitality and health to your skin during these dark, cold, winter months.

Your skin often requires a little extra T.L.C in winter as cold weather and central heating wreak havoc on your previously radiant summer skin, but fear not as I have a trio of products that will keep you looking and feeling gorgeous all winter long.

First up is the Bobbi Brown Extra Repair Serum (£69).

There’s never a better time to consider the introduction of a serum to your skincare routine than now.

This luxurious, milky serum deeply comforts your skin helping it to feel firm and nourished all day long.

Suitable for all skin types but aimed specifically at normal to dry, this serum is a god send for year round dehydrated, dull skin and is particularly comforting in winter.

Formulated with wheat bran, meadowfoam seed oil and olive extract, the complex helps to strengthen your skin's natural barrier to protect against damage, while improving its ability to lock in moisture.

Enriched with Vitamin C to brighten and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles it also contains Clary Sage extract to promote a clearer, more radiant complexion.

The result is skin that looks and feel plump, firm and wonderfully hydrated and healthy.

Silky and lightweight in texture, it is designed to be used post cleansing and prior to your moisturiser for an added layer of moisture and protection.

Quickly absorbed, it leaves your skin feeling comfortable, soft and radiant.

Up next is a best-selling hero icon from the Bobbi Brown line.

Their Vitamin Enriched Face Base (£45) is a primer and moisturiser in one specifically aimed at normal to oil skin types.

Decadently rich yet non-greasy or heavy, the luxurious balm has been formulated with shea butter and Vitamins B,C, and E to offer superior hydration and pampering.

Vitamin C brightens while Vitamin E offers long lasting nourishinment.

The balm is enriched with a divine, uplifting scent of geranium and grapefruit for a little sensory lift.

Designed to be used as the final step prior to makeup application it glides acros your skin, melting in to leave no trace and leaves your skin feeling wonderfully soft and hydrated.

Great for balancing and normalizing oily t-zones, it creates the perfect base for long lasting make up application.

Finally we have the Bobbi Brown Illuminating Bronzing Powder (£33).

Holding on to your summer glow can be tough as we head into the depths of winter but this bad boy will ensure that your skin looks radiant and bright all year round.

Unlike many bronzing powders which can look muddy and offer a flat look, this super soft, smooth pressed powder delivers a stunning, shimmering sun kissed glow.

Understated yet noticeable, it contains mica powder and micro pearls to lift and brighten your complexion while imparting a hit of natural, glowing colour.

The pearls within the sheer powder reflect light, lifting a tired complexion without any chalkiness or glitter.

The result is a natural luminosity which will have everyone questioning how your skin looks so fab.

I’m personally a big fan of the shade Antigue (pictured within this post) as it offers a light pink bronze which is perfect for my pale complexion.

I actually use this as a blush and bronzer in one as many bronzers can be way too dark for my fair skin, but Antigue creates an elegant, natural looking brightness in just the prettiest shade.

It brightens and defines my skin perfectly.

So there you have it. You needn’t kiss goodbye to gorgeous skin just because winter is upon us.

Bobbi Brown, as always, has all the answers!

  1. The Bobbi Brown bronzer shade range looks really interesting. I've previously found many bronzers difficult to wear because of the tones just haven't worked for my colouring and preference for a more natural look.
