All about the Lips is
the stunning new make-up collection from L’Occitane!
Infused with fruits, vegetables
and herbs from Provence and the Mediterranean Basin the collection comprises of
every product you could possibly think of to create beautiful, healthy looking
lips that pop with a splash of vibrant colour.
Within the collection
there are 3 lip scrubs (£14 each), a
Multi Balm (£20), Fruity Lip
Perfector (£20), 4 Tinted Lip Balms (£20 each) and 8 Fruity Lipsticks (£18 each).
I told you-
everything you could possibly need to ensure that you are the proud owner of the
softest, poutiest lips this summer!
I got my mitts on
their Delicious Lip Scrub in 030 Fabulous Fig, and oh my is it fabulous.
Unsurprisingly given
its name, this lip scrub features a fig extract at its heart along with vitamin
E, carrot, pomelo and pomegranate oils to gently exfoliate your lips leaving
them feeling smooth and tasting tantalisingly sweet!
Housed within a chic,
luxuriously heavy glass jar with silver lid featuring the L’Occitane logo, the fruitiness
of this scrub literally hits you when you open the lid.
Sweet soft notes of
fig delight your senses while the formula itself literally tastes good enough
to eat!
To apply, gently rub
a small amount of the scrub onto dry lips before rinsing off with water. A
little goes a long way and instantly your lips have been buffed beautiful,
removing traced of dead, dry skin to reveal a soft, full pout that smells and
tastes delicious!
Once your lips have
been prepared with the gorgeous scrub, its time to prep and prime them with the
new Delicious Multi-Balm.
This 3 in 1 lipcare
treatment can be used as a primer to prep your lips before applying your
lipstick, as a balm to soften the lips any time of the day or as an intensive
overnight lip mask.
Featuring a blend of
botanical oils, namely pomelo to soften, and carrot and pomegranate rich in
carotenoid as well as vitamin E, this rich and super hydrating balm is the
perfect treat for lips in need of some serious TLC.
Like the scub it too
is housed within a cute glass pot, but this time it features frosted glass and
a softer more mellow scent.
It’s Vegetarian
Friendly and Silicone free formula instantly soothes parched dry skin while its
soft, non sticky texture makes it a pleasure to use.
Lightweight despite
its richness it does a great job of staying of your lips and boasts super long
lasting, hydrating qualities.
I love a lip balm and
this is my current go to when nothing else is good enough. I highly recommend
treating your lips to a little extra treat every now and then by smothering a
generous layer across them before bed, allowing the formula to work its magic
on restoring and nourishing your lips while you sleep.
So, now your lips
have been prepped and primed its time to introduce them to the new Fruity
Lipsticks.
Available in eight
stunning shades from soft nudes to vibrant violets, there is a shade for
everyone.
These two vibrant
lipsticks are the fabulously hot pink Flamingo Kiss 070 and pretty Provenece Calling 080.
Irrespective of its
shade, each Fruity Lipstick has been infused with a combination of Pomegranate,
Carrot and Pomelos oils as well as vitamin E and castor oil to create a rich,
nourishing texture that melts onto your lips leaving them feeling soft and comfortable
while imparting a pop of colour.
Contained within a
vibrant yellow tube they feature a deliciously addictive, fresh and fruity
fragrance that evokes the sunny fruits of provence, leaving your lips not just
looking hot but smelling gorgeous too.
While Flamingo Kiss
offer a vibrant, fuschia shade and Provence Calling creates a mesmerising
violet hue they both contain the same shiny and evenly coloured texture which
leaves your lips feeling soft and plump as well as leaving behind a beautiful
sheer colour.
I am super impressed
by this new launch and I just adore the variety of products and their
luxurious, decadent textures along with their chic and sunny packaging.
The entire collection
is a pleasure to use.
