YSL Black Opium Pure Illusion

Black Opium Pure Illusion by YSL has to be quite possibly one of my all time favourite scents.

While the fragrance within is the same iconic scent as the original Black Opium, the bottle has been redesigned to represent the scent as a modern classic for modern heroines.

This limited edition bottle also offers a clue to the intoxicating scent within. The contrast between the light and dark elements of the bottle is a reflection of the composition of the perfume.

Clever eh.

This limited edition bottle is in the same form as the original but is emblazoned with funky black glittery and electric pink lines.

Sophisticated yet edgy, this eye catching bottle is the perfect representation of the perfume within.

Opium Pure Illusion is categorised as an Oriental scent but is warmer, softer and sweeter than most orientals.

The fragrance opens with notes of sweetened black coffee, mandarine and bergamot, offering a distinctive and gourmand experience.

Heart notes of organge blossom, tuberose and jasmin sambac create a sparkling yet light balance and base notes of white musk, vanilla beans and cashmeran blend together leaving a sensual and creamy addictive fragrance. 

Sophisticated and intoxicating, Black Opium Pure Illusion emanates a warmth and softness that you’ll find hard to resist.
