Fans of Burt’s Bees
will be thrilled to hear that they have launched a 100% natural lipstick collection!
Comprising of 18 gorgeous shades, these full coverage
lippies are made with 100% naturally moisturising ingredients to help soften
and condition your lips leaving them kissably soft all day long.
Housed in 100% recyclable packaging, these gorgeous
lipsticks contain beeswax, raspberry
seed oil (which contains vitamin E) to improve skin elasticity and Moringa oil
which is packed with antioxidants as well as being a skin purifier.
Boasting 8 hours worth of moisturisation AND full coverage, I
couldn’t wait to give them a try.
The range of shades are just stunning, from pinks and
corals, to nudes, reds and berries.
Applying the lipstick is just sheer heaven. The formula is
really soft and creamy allowing for easy application and while they do offer
full coverage, you can opt to build the colour.
Paler shades such as Tulip Tide which Holly Willoughby
recently rocked at The NTA awards can be slightly harder to apply in terms of
getting an even look but once you’ve built the colour it looks fab and feels
wonderful on your lips.
I cannot stand lipsticks that within 5 minutes leave your
lips screaming out for moisture and these lippies do a brilliant job of leaving
your lips feeling soft and nourished.
Top: Lily Lake, Middle: Tulip Tide, Bottom: Blush Basin |
I love their really soft, pleasant scent as well which
despite being barely detectable is a sweet and comforting aroma.
They offer a delicate sheen and soft, satin finish which
gives the illusion of fuller lips and they are so comfortable to wear I’d
almost liken them to a tinted balm were it not for their powerful, pigmented
colours.
All 18 wearable shades of the new Burt’s Bees 100% Natural Lipsticks are available now and cost £9.99 each.
I just love the packaging of these - Its lovely to see burts bees branching out!
