Max Factor False Lash Epic Mascara

One of the things that Max Factor do REALLY well are their mascara’s and their latest launch is no different.

The latest addition is their False Lash Epic Mascara and I can confirm that it is epic, but more about that later.

This brilliant mascara works so well thanks to a combination of its awesome formula and its wicked, if slightly terrifying looking brush!

The ‘Epic’ brush combines a double zoned body brush zoom action tip that reaches into the lash bed and loads mascara from the root, with a wetter formula for increased play time and a zoom action tip to capture fine eyelashes and magnify the lash fan.

The unique, arched shape of the brush combs and defines lashes, the flat edge deposits the darkening formula on to the lashes and the specialised tip helps to sculpt and reach hard to reach places.

The mascara formula contains higher levels of water to allow for increased play time on your lashes, has a high melting point wax to reduce smudging and flaking and contains a gloss polymer to add shine and make your lashes super glossy.

Despite being initially terrified of the brush I actually found it really easy to use. It wasn’t full of product so my lashes weren’t overwhelmed and the formula allowed me time to brush it through evenly before it set.

The product glided onto my lashes perfectly and the brush ensured it was distributed evenly, coating pretty much every single lash without any clumping.

As you can see from the photos, my lashes looked immediately longer, more volumised, curved and super impressively, completely clump free.

In terms of wear, there was indeed no flaking or smudging after a 12 hour day and much to my delight it was really easy to remove too, meaning no trauma to my lashes or eyes.

I actually don’t have a single negative thing to say about this bad ass mascara.

Its super easy to use, long lasting and creates the most epic, beautiful lashes.

Max Factor’s new False Lash Epic Mascara is available now and costs a very reasonably £9.99.

  1. Oh I like the sound of this! One issue I have with mascara is when I'm wearing black liquid liner it looks like I haven't got it close enough to the lash line. But that's because the base of my lashes are blonde and I can't get mascara right down to the base with taking an eye out/getting it everywhere. So the 'skin' you can see is actually just blonde lashes x
