The Organic Pharmacy Carrot Butter Cleanser

First things first.

Happy New Year lovelies! I hope you all a Fabulicious crimbo and new year!

Now, the first post I have for you for the new year is all about a fabulous cleanser, guaranteed to wash away the sins of last year from your skin!

I’ve recently found myself a huge fan of cleansing oils and balms and because of my new found love of these products, was recommended The Organic Pharmacy’s Carrot Butter cleanser to try next.

I’m a lazy girl and love all-in-one products that can remove all of my make up at once, like wipes but in a more skin beneficial way.

Like facial oils, The Organic Pharmacy’s Carrot Butter cleanser works on dry skin.

Massage  a small amount of the cleanser onto dry skin and watch it literally melt the make up off your face, and eyes! It works on mascara too and is much kinder to your lashes than some harsh eye make up removers.

Now, unlike an oil and some other balms, you cannot simply splash some warm water on your chops and watch the cleanser melt off.

I didn’t realise this and did mildly panic when the cleanser wasn’t coming off and left residue on my hands, not dissimilar to how Vaseline looks and feels.

EEEK!

Don’t worry- I was just a plank that didn’t read the instructions properly.

To complete the cleansing regime, you need to remove the cleanser with a warm, wet muslin cloth.

Phew! Panic over!

Obviously, the first job of a cleanser is to, indeed, cleanse the skin but this product is packed full of other skin loving properties.

It is infused with antioxidant Carrot and Calendula as well as decongesting Rosemary and soothing Lavender for a really deep but gentle cleanse.

It is rich, luxurious and left my skin feeling baby soft.

At £34.96 it is not the cheapest cleanser about, but you only need a tiny amount and your skin is precious, so treat it well!

  2. It is a lovely product but won't be for you if you don't like the idea of using a cloth to complete the cleansing! X
