Mon Guerlain is the beautiful, addictive and seductive new
scent from luxury brand Guerlain.
The fragrance is described as being a tribute to today’s
femininity - a strong, free and sensual femininity and it has been inspired by
Angelina Jolie who is in my opinion, one of the most stunning women in the
world.
Categorised as an ‘oriental’ scent, Mon Guerlain is nothing
like I expected it to be.
I was preparing for a strong, heady and overpowering
fragrance but instead I experienced a soft, warm and sensual scent.
I love it!
I love everything about this fragrance actually.
Its iconic bottle is known as an ‘quadrilobe’, thanks to its
stopper which is formed from one piece and features symmetrical shapes that form
the overall outline of four partially-overlapping circles, resembling four
lobes.
The clear stopper is adorned with a chic, gold ring and sits
atop of a luxurious glass weight which features strong lines and the Guerlain
name.
The bottle is the perfect reflection of the scent within; a
contrast between powerful lines and soft curves, the perfect expression of
contemporary femininity.
The fragrance itself features top notes of Bergmot, Carla
and Lavender from provence, heart notes of Paradisone, Coumarin and Sambac
Jasmine from India while base notes feature Iris, Vanilla Tahitensis from Papua
New Guinea and Album Sandalwood from Australia.
It is a wonderfully soft, warm and luxurious fragrance.
I love its luxurious notes and the softness it possesses literally
envelopes your senses.
Angelina Jolie is an inspired choice to front the fragrance
as this is exactly the kind of scent I could imagine her wearing.
Mon Guerlain is available now and 50ml costs £68.
