Clarins Limited Edition Pretty Day 5 Colour Eyeshadow Palette

Every season I look forward to seeing what Clarins has to offer with their Limited Edition collections and Autumn 2015 certainly hasn't disappointed!

Drawing inspiration from autumnal shades the collection is full of soft beige and fresh pink shades for daytime and smoky purples and carbon blacks for evening.

One of the most beautiful pieces from their autumn collection is the Limited Edition Pretty Day 5 Colour Eyeshadow Palette (£33).

This compact palette contains five gorgeous, wearable shades from a matte nude to a shimmering, satin chocolate brown.

The mix of matte and shimmery as well as light and darker shades means that this palette can take you from a subtle day look to a dramatic evening eye in one go.

The matte nude offers a great base colour and I am in love with the slightly iridescent pink shade, it's so so pretty and looks gorgeous with the next shade along, a shimmery taupe.

For a more dramatic look the two chocolate brown shades are perfect and with a choice of either a matte or shimmery finish, you can go as glam or as natural as you like.

Each shadow is beautifully soft, easy to apply and can be layered and blended easily to create the look you're after.

There is not a single shade in this compact that I don't love!

You can get your hands on this beautiful palette along with the rest of the autumn collection from August.

Rose & Co

If you love beautiful, kitsch, vintage-esq brands and products then you're going to love Rose & Co!

Available from their quaint Victorian store in Yorkshire, online or from select retailers such as Harrods, Fortnum & Mason and house of Fraser, their collection of beautiful beauty products are to die for!

Packaged in gorgeous, vintage inspired bottles and jars, I was lucky enough to try two products from their new range as well as their world renowned beauty balm, the Rose Petal Salve.

No.84 is their new signature bath and body range which is named after Rose & Co's world famous Apothecary, No.84 Main Street, Haworth.

This range is fragranced with an aromatic, modern -Rose composition with elements of tea, violet, jasmine and iris enriched win cedar, amber and musk.

It is a soft, powdery fragrance which is used across the collection, including their Hand Cream (£5) and their Cupcake Soap (£5).

The hand cream is a lovely texture and consistency, made with Shea butter and enriched with Vitamin E it leaves your hands feeling soft and smelling lovely.

I actually can't comment on the soap because as far as I'm concerned, it's just too pretty to use! I mean, look at it!

I love the smell of roses and utterly ADORE their Rose Petal Salve (£5)!

This pretty pink salve contains vitamin A, natural emollients, beeswax and sweet almond oil which work together to deliver a nourishing treat to dry skin and offers healing and antibacterial properties.

Pretty great hey!

Delicately scented with sweet smelling Rose oil, this miracle pink balm is so much more than just a lip balm. In fact, it is a real multi tasking skin saviour with around 20 different ways to use it, including;

Soothes chapped lips and seals in moisture

Glosses lips with a light pink sheen

Cheekbone enhancer

Softens cuticles

Rescues and treats dry patches and rough skin,
including knuckles, elbows and hands

Provides a barrier to skin for rashes

Provides a barrier against nail varnish bleeding onto skin and cuticles

Tames eyebrows

All these uses for just £5 a jar is pretty special!

You can get your hands on Rose & Co products now online or from selected independent retailers.

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick

Ok so I'm a little embarrassed to admit that until very recently, I have been somewhat behind in the whole Charlotte Tilbury experience.

Sure I've seen tonnes of posts and photos of this beautiful brand and it's products across Twitter, Facebook and Instagram and I've lusted over countless items but finally I've broken my CT virginity!

Everywhere I go people rave about this brand and so I ought it was about time I saw what all the fuss was about.

I figured lipstick is always a good place to start and it's a key item in my daily routine.

I love a red lip but it can be hard to find the perfect red both in terms of colour, texture and effect and after having it personally recommended to me, I opted to try the Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Red Carpet Red.

Before I address the product itself, can we all just take a moment to appreciate the beauty that is this packaging!

It's ALL about Rose Gold and any CT lovers out there will know that this is the signature packaging colour of choice across the brand. It screams contemporary sophistication and delicate femininity all at once.

Old Hollywood glamour collides with modern chic in the look and style of the lipstick tube. The tube is ridged all the way around and features the brands initials on the lid. In the right light it actually looks like it glows!

So, for the lipstick itself.

The first thing you'll notice is that the lipstick tip is square rather than pointed. This revolutionary angled tip is designed to mimic the shape of a lip brush to allow precise application. Pretty smart huh?

Now, Red Carpet Red is a rich, true ruby red shade that looks stunning against my pale skin.

The formula is thick and creamy and easy to apply yet completely matte. When applying it to your lips it hugs every curve and sticks.

You won't find any uneven smears here, just a really vibrant, stunning, modern matte colour.

The lipsticks contains 3D glowing pigments to create the illusion of "lit-from-within lips" that makes your lips appear wider and fuller which is always a winner. Lipstick Tree and Orchid extract softens, protect and hydrate your lips to ensure that they are left looking and feeling soft despite the matte effect.

Unlike many other matte lippies my lips weren't left feeling dry and sucked of moisture and the staying power this lipstick has is insane!

I literally cannot think of a single negative thing about this product. I totally get the CT hype!

It's the most beautiful, perfect Hollywood Red I've ever come across and if every Charlotte Tilbury product is created with such beauty and care, I'm going to be one broke girl!

You can buy Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipsticks online now where they are available in 10 shades including Red Carpet Red and cost £23 each.
