Givenchy Dahlia Noir Le Bal

Givenchy is set to unveil its new limited edition fragrance Dahlia Noir Le Bal Eau de Parfum and Eau de Toilette this month.

Available exclusively at Harrods, I have to say I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more beautifully  presented fragrance before, EVER!

When the box containing the fragrance is opened, it splits in two and fans out to reveal the fragrance inside, much like a flower gently opening to reveal the delicious nectar within!

Dahlia Noir Le Bal is a gorgeously musky and powdery fragrance, centered around a heart note of rose petal with compliments of Mimosa, Sandalwood and Patchouli.

It is undoubtedly a grown up fragrance, without the hint of sweetness which usually attracts me to a fragrance, but there is something about this one that I simply adore!

I find fragrances particularly  hard to describe, but If I were to try my best, I would say it smells sensually musky, soft and warming.

I think that actually this is a perfect fragrance for winter.

Dahlia Noir Le Bal is available as an EDT as pictured above for £69.50 for 75ml,  but also as an EDP which comes in a black bottle and costs £83.

Both the EDT and EDP will be available from Harrods this month.

Clarins Eye Quartet Mineral Palette in Forest

I get very excited when Clarins release their latest season eye palettes because I know they are always gorgeous and beautiful, and this season is no different.

I had a play around with their Eye Quartet Mineral Palette in Forest which includes shades of bronze, gold, taupe and khaki.

Yes, the browns and golds are colours I would generally always go for but not khaki, so I was interested to see how it would look!

As always, these shadows can be used either dry or wet, though I personally never use them wet for fear of ruining my beautiful palette!

Each shade is highly pigmented, as soft as silk and provides fab, long lasting colour.

Two foam tipped applicators are designed for you to shade and blend seamlessly, allowing you to create beautiful looks!

I do love how Clarins always includes a little ‘how to get the look’ card in their palettes, with a simple where to use each shadow on your eye, for those of us unsure how to use all 4 colours together.

I’m happy to report that the Khaki shade wasn’t at all as green as I had imagined and looked beautiful with the other autumnal shades, making this palette my new go-to for autumn!

Rihanna Launches New Fragrance: Rogue

Next week, September 10th, sees Rihanna unveil her latest fragrance, Rogue.

The perfume, which will be the stars fourth scent, will launch in an exclusive online pre-sale for fans to coincide with Rihanna's visit to London.

Just 100 bottles will be available from the Selfridges website next Tuesday 10th September, ahead of its official launch in Selfridges on October 24.

People are always changing and evolving, and with ROGUE, my new fragrance, I wanted to switch it up to reflect who I am today. It’s a personal fragrance that’s more self-aware. It’s ROGUE, it’s me.” Says Rihanna, “This scent embodies demure feminine qualities yet carries into an audacious new moment. I made it for all women, for every mood, because we all want to project our true selves.”

Rogue by Rihanna will be priced at £43 for 125ml and from what I can see, looks a world away from her cutesy previous fragrances, but as I’ve yet to smell it, I can’t comment!

Will you be trying to get your hands on one of the first bottles next week?

Vaseline Limited Edition Paint The Town Red Lip Therapy

There’s a new Vaseline Limited Edition Lip Therapy on the block!

Available exclusively at Selfridges from tomorrow, Vaseline Paint The Town (£3.49) has a light red hue  and is enriched with a spiced berry flavour.

Mnnn!

Designed for the party season, the combination of Vaseline’s caring Petroleum Jelly with a subtle red tint is designed to intensively moisturise and give colour in an instant.

The limited edition Vaseline Paint The Town will be available exclusively to Selfridges from tomorrow while stocks last before becoming available at all major retailers nationwide from mid-September.

Ooooh I’m excited to see what this little pot is like as I love the idea of it being spiced berry flavored, though it does sound a bit ‘Christmassey’ and it is only just September after all….
