Vaseline Limited Edition Queen Bee Lip Therapy

I love Vaseline and Their Lip Therapy tins are one of my must have beauty staples. I literally have a tin everywhere; in my handbag, bed side table, in my coat, dressing gown, you get the picture.

Given my love for this product you can imagine how excited I get when they launch limited edition versions. Until now, Creme Brûlée has reigned as my all time fave, but it's just been knocked off the top spot.

Queen Bee is the fourth Limited Edition Lip Therapy from Vaseline.

It not only heals and cares for dry lips, but it will also bring out the Queen Bee in you!

This Honeylicious lip therapy contains all the goodness you’d find in an original lip therapy but with a gorgeously delicate hint of honey.

To celebrate this gorgeous little lovely I was asked to create my very own personalised bee design.

I was sent a Queen Bee stencil and customisation kit and left to my own creative devices to create what I think I might look like as a Queen Bee!

Now let me be clear, I’ve not indulged in any arts and crafts for YEARS so my creation is far from perfect.

To illustrate this point, my husband kindly pointed this out to me by saying ‘did you mean to colour outside the line?’ ....

That said I’m pretty proud of my attempt!

My Queen Bee is the epitome of regal royalty with a large dose of glamour thanks to her sparkly crown adorned with black jewels, but it’s not just her bling that sparkles!

No-one can dull my Queen Bee’s shine thanks to her glittery, lilac and gold wings and black and gold stripes. She’s earned those!

Thick black lashes make her blue eyes pop and are guaranteed to cause a flutter among her hive!

I’ve decided to name my Queen Bee, Queen Bee Fabulicious (obviously!)

October 13^th sees the launch of the Queen Bee limited edition lip balm from Vaseline. 

 This tin sports a rather cute bee-inspired look, so it won’t surprise to you to hear that the balm within has a delicate and light honey scent.

A must for all Vaseline fans, this limited edition balm will retail at £3.99.

Vaseline Paint The Town Red Limited Edition Lip Tint

So, I got my hands on one of the gorgeous Vaseline Paint The Town Red Limited Edition Lip Tint and its just as lovely as I thought it would be!

Firstly, it smells yummy! 

It’s very delicately fruity without having a really fake, overpowering  fragrance to it.

Next, the colour is just great! It looks really red in the tin but as you can see from my photos, actually only gives a hint of red to just perk up tired looking lips.

I was quite pleased by this because as a wearer of red lips, I know how troublesome it can be to keep the colour on my lips and not all around my face, and if this Vaseline lip therapy had been really pigmented, I think I’d be in trouble!

All in all, I really like this; No its not going to give you a dramatic lip, but it will perk you up with a hint of colour while making sure your lips stay soft and yummy!

Designed for the party season, the combination of Vaseline’s caring Petroleum Jelly with a subtle red tint is designed to intensively moisturise and give colour in an instant.

The limited edition Vaseline Paint The Town will be available exclusively to Selfridges from tomorrow while stocks last before becoming available at all major retailers nationwide from mid-September.

Ooooh I’m excited to see what this little pot is like as I love the idea of it being spiced berry flavored, though it does sound a bit ‘Christmassey’ and it is only just September after all….
