Not since Lady Gaga released Fame have I been so excited about a celebrity fragrance launch.

The UK’s favourite Geordie has finally launched her hotly anticipated debut fragrance, Storm Flower.

This unique scent was created to capture the many facets of Cheryl’s personality and she was clearly keen to be very involved in the process.

“For my debut fragrance I wanted to achieve two goals: to create something that both looks beautiful and smells gorgeous. The development has been really intense but inspirational and I have absolutely loved being so involved in the creative process.” 

The result is simply stunning. In fact, my immediate thought when I first smelt Storm Flower was ‘I bet this is what Cheryl smells like.’ Seriously, it smells just like I’d imagine her to smell!

 

The fragrance is very distinctive and worlds away from the more saccharine- sweet  fragrances that are so often released by female celebs, designed to appeal to the masses. 

Notes of mandarin, nectarine, freesia and peach offer a sophisticated and delicate sweetness which is both enticing and feminine.

Vanilla, white musk and sandalwood blend perfectly together to offer a warm and ‘grown-up’ element to the fragrance.

The bottle is as unique and beautiful as the fragrance, with its soft rose gold curves and romantic flower cap.  Gorgeous yet understated. Much like Cheryl!

I’m seriously impressed with Storm Flower. I love its addictive uniqueness and urge you to try it for yourself. Like me, you might just love it.

Ladies and gents, I’ve FINALLY found a product that treats two of my biggest skincare issues!

The serum itself feels initially like a light oil, but is absorbed quickly leaving no oily residue. 

It smells AMAZING. It has a very strong fragrance, an amalgamation of tonnes of different natural  oils, which I actually found to be really relaxing and a treat in itself.

I applied 2 pumps to freshly cleanses skin twice a day and I was thrilled with the results.

My skin looked and felt soft and nourished and after about 4 or 5 days, my combination skin was far more even, with my oily patches being less so and my dry patches appearing more moisturised.

Instead of feeling clogged by skin feels fresh and light after using it, refreshed and revived.

I love the fact that its packed with tonnes of anti ageing ingredients too, so its looking after my skin as well as helping to control it, win win!

How beautiful is this Limited Edition Cheek Melange in Sensual Reflections from Laura Mercier!

This blush is part of the Sensual Reflections collection and is perfect for any skin tone.

The hand picked, complimentary shades have been designed to you give you a natural, glowing colour and can be used on your face, cheeks and eyes.

It has a slightly iridescent appearance when applied to my cheeks and I find it works really well as a hi-lighter when applied to my brow bone and above my cheeks and cheek bones.

It gives your skin a really fresh, healthy looking appearance without adding too much colour.

The three shades within the palette work together perfectly when used as an eyeshadow too, offering a delicate, pinky-purple look.

At £32 it is a tad pricey, but if you’re in the market for a really pretty product with multi use properties, this is definitely for you.

Limited Edition Angel Glamorama

You all know what a HUGE Thierry Mugler Angel fan I am, so imagine my delight when I came across the new limited edition and collector’s edition, Glamorama!

This enigmatic, dark, black lacquered star is sprinkled with a shower of sparkling blue spangles, exuding glamour and mystique.

Inside the stunning refillable star you’ll find the much loved, original fragrance, it’s just been given a bit of a rock n roll make over!

This little beauty is available exclusively from Selfridges from October 1st, costs £65 and is  a must-have for all fans of the original!

DKNY MYNY

MYNY is the fabulous new fragrance from DKNY.

Fronted by the gorgeous Rita Ora, MYNY is as modern and individual as she is, from the fragrance itself to the gorgeous chrome and pink heart shaped bottle.

The fragrance itself is powerful and fresh with the perfect mix of fruity and floral notes.

Top notes of raspberry, galbanum and pink pepper blend beautifully with middle notes of Jasmine, Freesia and Orris before melting away into bottom notes of Patchouli, Vanolla, Ambergis and creamy musks.

It’s a pretty strong and distinctive fragrance (Probably why they chose Rita to front the campaign!) and personally I prefer the perfume once the base notes make their appearance with a softer, feminine, musksy fragrance. 

I am n love with the bottle too which is so distinctive, unique and modern and yet retains its femininity with the pink of the fragrance.

So gorgeous!
