Elegant and feminine yet strong with bold lines the multi-faceted glass bottle resembles a shimmering skyscraper. 

Its heavily weighted base offers a strong foundation which is then juxtaposed by the delicate blush pink logo collar.

It is a fabulously well thought out bottle that is the perfect reflection of the complex yet stunning scent within.

The fragrance opens with captivating notes of spicy Pink Pepper, Pink Guava Mousse and Black Cardamon before a sophisticated floral heart of Jasmine Sambac, White Tea and Black Irish make their presence known.

Base notes of warm, sensual Vanilla Bean, Sandalwood and Grey Amber Accord round off the scent creating an addictive, memorable scent that lingers beautifully on your skin.

It is such a distinctive fragrance that somehow manages to be both light and feminine and yet bold and strong, which I like to think reflects my personality and indeed, the personality of many women out there!

It is entirely possible to be both feminine and strong and I embrace this wholeheartedly!

DKNY Nectar Love

Nectar Love is the beautiful new fragrance from DKNY.

This oriental floral fragrance is addictive, sweet, alluring and intoxicating all in one.

It’s a powerful combination.

Captured within a stunning warm gold bottle and adorned with the cutest little bee, the bottle reflects the addictiveness of the fragrance within. Like a bee finds itself helpless but to be captivated by the irresistible draw of a lush, blooming flower, Nectar Love captures nature’s pull of undeniable attraction.

It is a complex scent and I honestly can’t decide if it is more fruity floral or gourmand, so I guess it’s a wonderful blend of all three!

Top notes of yellow freesia and solar salicylates are met with  juicy mandarin, zesty grapefruit, and sweet nectarine before mid notes of jasmine, muguet, orange flower and Mirabelle take the zesty edge off.

Base notes of caedarwood, vanilla, musk, beeswax and neroli co-distillate create a sweet and warm aspect to the fragrance and help to soften and round off the scent to perfection.

I love the way that the scent is so fresh and fruity when first applied yet transforms into a soft and creamy fragrance during the dry down.

 

It is light enough to wear in the day yet its seductive and addictive nature makes it equally great as an evening fragrance.

It is just the right amount of floral without being too much. Just the right amount of fruity without being too fresh and zesty and just the right amount of sweet without being sickly.

And I mean, come on. Have you SEEN the bottle! 

While it may have been a bugger to photograph because of its reflective cap, it is undeniably stunning!

DKNY Be Tempted

Be Tempted is the wickedly forbidden new scent from DKNY which is just too tempting to resist.

Just as Eve couldn’t resist the forbidden fruit you’ll find the deliciousness of this fragrance hard to deny!

The ionic DKNY apple is red with lust and seduction and features a snake embellishment curved around the body of the bottle, invoking the sensual scent within.

Just like the forbidden fruit, Be Tempted is deliciously fruity and sweet, featuring top notes of Black Currant Bud, juicy red fruit accord, zesty lemon and wine sap apple accord intertwined with devil liquorice.

The heart of the fragrance swirls with femininity and passion thanks to luxurious rose oil and sensual violet and orange flower.

Exotic patchouli oil Indonesia, creamy vanilla and enchanting myhrr round off the fragrance leaving a deliciously addictive fragrance that will have you craving more and more.

Perfect for fans of gourmand scents DKNY Be Tempted has to be my favourite DKNY scent to date.
