Fancy a Fekkai Shampoo for FREE?

Who wants something for nothing? Fancy getting your hands on a luxury colour-caring shampoo, for free? Of course you do, stupid question!

In that case, get yourself down to selected Debenham's stores  this Wednesday 13 July  and you can claim a free shampoo  in their shampoo swap!

All you have to do is take one of your branded shampoos (be it full or empty)  and you can swap it for a full size Fekkai Advanced Salon Technician Shampoo. That’s it, no catch, no cost, no problem!
The shampoo is perfect for women with weakened or colour-treated hair, Fekkai’s Advanced Technician Shampoo reduces colour fading and seals the cuticle with a conditioning layer as well as guarding against UV rays.

The swap will last as long as stocks are available across UK and Ireland ( take that to mean you need to get there early!), in the following Debenhams stores: Wakefield, London Oxford Street, Manchester, Trafford, Glasgow, Preston, MetroCentre, Liverpool and Henry Street Dublin.

If you cant make it to a store on Wednesday fear ye not,  head over to the Debenhams website to get a free Fekkai Advanced Brilliant Glossing Cream when you buy any two Fekkai products.

You can Ring my Bella

This autumn sees the launch of a new scent from Benefit called Ring my Bella.

The fragrance contains top notes of pink rose petals, lily and daisy; middle notes of Egyptian jasmine and peony; and bottom notes of white patchouli, vanilla tincture and white musk.

I love Benefit fragrances; in fact I have indeed been hooked on So Hooked on Carmella since I first bought it last year.  So Hooked on Carmella is very sweet smelling, it reminds me of Pina Colada's in the sun and though I love it,  will say that it is definitely a summer fragrance-  I rarely find myself sipping on a pineapple and coconut cocktail in the deep depths of winter after all!

Im looking forward to giving Ring my Bella a try when its released and I cant help but wonder if the name alludes to the main character in a certain very well known vampire film being released this November….

Exfoliate your way to Loveliness

Back in March I won the chance to take part in a make over and photo shoot with OK! Magazine.  The shoot was in conjunction with Boots and was about our favourite beauty/skincare product.

So, here was mine; The Sanctuary Salt Body Scrub- a scrub I encourage you all to try!

The Scrub is divine- Its the best exfoliating treatment ive ever had. It smells wonderful and makes my skin silky and smooth instantly. I love having a hot shower and rubbing this all over my body- the salt isnt so sharp that it hurts my skin, but its rough enough to get rid of the dead skin and the essential oils within the scrub nourish my skin and make it wonderfully soft! Unlike lots of other scrubs, the essential oil fragrance lasts for the whole evening and is so relaxing.

A word of warning- I do not recommend you use this scrub immediately after you have shaved- it is a salt scrub after all remember!

Berry Beautiful

Friday 8th July and it is miserable and raining in London town. So much for summer! To cheer myself up I decided to brighten up my day by trying out a new nail colour. I’m loving the pastel shades that are currently out which have been inspired by the SS11 catwalks as mentioned here,  so  I decided to go for a lovely lilac polish by Barry M, number 308 Berry.

Initially the varnish goes on really streaky, but after a second coat it looks lovely, vibrant and shiny.

At least I can look at my hands today and feel colourful and radiant!
