Darphin Intral Collection New Launches

If like me you suffer with or are prone to experience bouts of sensitive skin then this post is for you.
Allow me to introduce you to two new products from Darphin’s Intral collection.

Created with sensitive skin in mind that is prone to redness the new launches feature a Toner with Camomile (£30) and a Redness Relief Recovery Balm (£48).

These gentle and soothing products soothe even the most sensitive of skins and contain a cocktail of plants and aromas, helping to tackle sensitivity and leave skin feeling calmed, comfortable and radiant.

I’ve fallen in love with this pretty, pink Toner and believe it or not, it actually allows me to begin to feel soothed just by inhaling its soft, delicate aroma!

This stunning lotion has been infused with Chamomile, renowned for its decongesting and anti-redness properties which has been blended with the Darphin Calm Complex.

Designed to be used after your cleanser, it helps to calm and soothe skin troubled by redness, irritation and intolerance.

Gentle on your skin and non-drying, it features a soft, subtle scent which further adds to the calming experience and leaves your skin feeling soft and fresh without a hint of tightness.

When your skin really hits rock bottom and is screaming out for relief then the new Redness Relief Recovery Balm will sort you right out.

Created with dry to very dry skin in mind, this soothing and super nourishing balm features an  exclusive Calm Complex of 3 flowers (Hawthorn, Peony and Chamomile) along with Bran extract, Glycosaminoglycanes, Vitamin E and Mango Butter to soften and nourish your skin while helping to reduce redness.

These potent ingredients don’t just nourish, they also work to soothe and strengthen your skin’s natural barrier to better protect it against irritants, pollution and environmental stressors which can age your skin.

I expected a very thick, slightly greasy product as this product has been called a ‘balm’, but I was very surprised that it was not in the slightest bit greasy.

Rich, thick and extremely nourishing it is completely non greasy and despite its richness it was absorbed quickly, leaving behind no trace other than wonderfully moisturised and calmed skin.

My dry patches felt instantly refreshed and the tightness and discomfort eased almost immediately.

A little goes a long way with this product so you don’t need to pile it on to achieve softer, soothed skin which is a great reflection of just how fabulously it works.

This duo are not cheap I know, but if your skin can be troublesome you’ll know that you’d pay anything to restore balance and calm and these two products really do help.

Darphin’s Intral Toner and Redness Relief Recovery Balm are both available now along with the rest of the Intral Collection here.

Murad Blemish Clearing Solution

Trying to combat breakouts can be a nightmare at the best of times, but throw sensitive skin into the mix and you’re looking at a nightmare.

Many spot busting products can be too strong for my skin but thankfully I’ve come across Murad’s Blemish Clearing Solution.

This milky coloured solution has really helped my skin in its time of need when angry breakouts occur and has helped to get rid of them quickly without aggravating them further!

The powerful anti-blemish forumula helps to rapidly heal breakouts and supports the healing of inflamed, stressed out skin.

Salicylic Acid and Queen of Meadow extract exfoliates and prevents dead surface skin build up while fighting breakouts, keeping pores clear of blemish causing bacteria without irritation.

Tea Tree Oil purifies skin and prevents future breakouts and Its Vitamin blend helps soothe and supports healing of inflamed skin.

It has the perfect combination of hard working, spot fighting ingredients and skin loving, soothing ones which ensures that your skin is looked after.

The product itself is a cloudy, light fluid which you apply to your face or other problem areas such as your neck and chest after you’ve cleansed and before you moisturise.

It has a very subtle, pleasant scent and is absorbed super quickly into your skin leaving no trace.

There is no nasty stinging sensation or alcoholic smell often associated with blemish treatments and it doesn’t leave your skin feel tight or sore.

It’s as if you’ve not used anything on your skin at all in fact!

Research from Murad says that 96% of users saw clearer skin in 72 hours and I’d be inclined to agree with these stats.

Blemishes were reduced in size and redness within 24 hours and in my opinion, cleared far more quickly than without any treatment at all.

Now, this serum is pretty pricey at £39.50 BUT Id you only use it when you need it it’ll last you ages, like it has me.

If you have sensitive skin like me but still want to help clear your skin then I’d say Murad’s Blemish Clearing Solution is definitely worth a shot.

Suti Peppermint Water Facial Toner

Following on from last week’s post about my sensitive skin is today’s post about a gorgeous little skincare product, recommended to me by the one and only Get Lippie.

Not only have I been battling sensitive skin, but also problematic, oily and spotty skin.

It has recently come out of nowhere and seeks to ruin my days, my moods and my face!

After going down the route of generally abusing my skin in the hope it would then behave, was Get Lippie’s kinder suggestion of being nicer to my skin and trying more natural, gentle products.

Made with organic peppermint leaves, Suti’s Peppermint Water Facial Toner primes the skin after cleansing, which helps to calm irritated, inflamed and blemished complexions.

That’ll be me then!

You can use the water as you would a toner by spritzing some onto a cotton pad and applying to your face or alternatively spray directly onto your face and remove with a pad.

The toner helps to balances sensitive, oily, problematic skin without leaving your skin feeling dry or tight.

If it wasn’t for the fact that my skin is looking and feeling so much better, I would question if this
product even worked due to it being so gentle to my skin!

My sensitive skin doesn’t react to the water and it is left feeling fresh, clean and beautiful.

It is so incredibly gentle to your skin and has a lovely, delicate peppermint smell to it.

Suti’s Peppermint Water Facial Toner is available from the Suti website and costs £18.50.

What do you think? Have you tried this peppermint water or any other Suti products?  Do they work for you?
