Mr Kipling Limited Edition Summer Cakes & Giveaway

I blinkin’ love Mr Kipling cakes and my eyes lit up when I saw their new limited edition cakes.

The new sunny, summery and gorgeously packaged range comprises of four mouthwatering flavours, each a variation of a pre-existing cake.

First up are the delicious Trifle Slices. 

Made with a raspberry flavoured mallow and custard based topping they are the perfect size for a little treat and come in a handy pack for snacking on the go!

Light and fruity they are my kids favourites!

Next are the exquisite Strawberry Cheesecake Whirls. 

A yummy take on the original viennesse whirls, these feature a cheesecake flavoured cream and strawberry jam filling nestled within two shortcake swirls.

Delicately flavoured, sweet, crumbly and light I could easily polish off the entire box quite easily!

Strawberries and Cream Fondant Fancies have been brought back by popular demand and its not hard to see why!

Light, strawberry flavoured, pink sponge is topped with a cream flavoured icing in the most perfect homage to the quintessential summer treat- strawberries and cream!

Lastly we have my favourite cake from the range. Say hello to the Eton Mess Bakewell Tart.

OMG this cake is like heaven on a plate! 

A seasonal take on the original bakewell tart, pretty pink icing is adorned with small crunchy balls of delightful meringue.

This cake is very sweet, perfect for sweet toothed fiends like myself and is the perfect combination of crumbly and sweet thanks to its buttery biscuit crust, squidgy jammy filling and soft, sweet icing.

Elemis Superfood Facial Oil

I’ve yet to come across an Elemis product that I haven’t loved and I’m thrilled to say that their new Superfood Facial Oil is no different.

Captured within a super cute little bottle with dainty dropper, this potent oil contains anti-oxidant and omega-rich Broccoli, Flax Seed and Daikon Radish to feed your skin from the outside in, resulting in smooth, plumped and healthy looking and feeling skin.

Delicately fragranced, the non-greasy oil is light in texture yet rich in nourishment.

Easily and quickly absorbed into your skin after cleansing and prior to moisturising, it left my skin feeling so hydrated that I didn’t actually need my moisturiser.

(I have oily-combination skin so my skin doesn’t need too much hydration but if you have dry skin you’ll probably still need a moisturiser on top)

I applied 3-4 drops only and gently massaged the oil into my skin both more and evening and within a week I could notice a difference in both the texture and appearance of my skin.

My skin felt softer and looked healthier- more radiant and dare I say it, glowy!

Turns out I’m not alone as apparently 90% of women tested in consumer trials said that the oil left their skin feeling smooth and hydrated with a further 84% saying that they felt their skin looked healthier.

No wonder its an award winner eh!

GHOST Sweetheart Forever

Sweetheart Forever is the enchanting new scent from GHOST.

Perfect for warm, sunny, summer days this romantic eau de toilette is playful and light yet sensual and romantic.

Housed in a beautiful, chic, dusky pink bottle with rose gold detail, this delicate fragrance really is rather beautiful.

 Described as a ‘floriental’ scent, Sweetheart Forever is a far more sophisticated fragrance than I had expected, particularly for such a reasonable price point (£25 for 30ml).

Juicy top notes of Orange, Cassis and Lychee offer a tempting and sweet experience before a floral burst of rose and white flower envelop your senses.

Base notes of sweet vanilla, warm woods and patchouli compliment the floral freshness of the opening notes to create a delicate and appealing, well rounded fragrance.

It is light enough to be worn in the day but romantic and musky enough to pass as an evening fragrance too and thanks to the fact that it is an EDT you won’t find it too heady or heavy.

I adore the understated dainty bottle and the lightness of the scent. 

Enchanting really is the best word I can find to describe it!
