Every now and then, something comes along that is a little bit special.
I came across a site called ShmooBamboo literally yesterday and was astounded by what I saw.
Jelly Baby Necklace £8.99 |
At first, I thought id stumbled across a sweet shop, which would have been great in itself, but upon closer inspection I realised that it wasn’t sweets I was looking at longingly, but jewellery!
Incredible, gorgeous, unique and fabulous food and sweetie inspired jewellery!
Jammy Dodger Ring £8.99 |
The creator of these masterpieces is Victoria Laycock who has been making jewellery and accessories for herself since she was a child.
It wasn’t until her winter wedding in January 2010 when she struggled to find a suitable hair accessory to wear that she decided to make her own.
Dolly Mixture Bracelet £12.99 |
Following on from this she decided she wanted to design on a bigger scale and after a year of showcasing her pieces at craft fairs, ShmooBamboo was born.
While the company is new it has already attracted some serious attention.

Slice of Cake Ring £10 |
(Lets be honest, its hard not to with those designs!)
In December 2011, Victoria was asked by Karl Willet, celebrity stylist, to design and produce 16 masks for the Clothes Show Catwalk event in Birmingham, which was a huge success.
Love Hearts Ring £8.99 |
She has just launched her online store and with prices starting at just £8.99 you can afford to have your own little sweet treat, minus the calories!
Head to ShmooBamboo now to take a look at some of the other items for sale, including some incredible fascinators like nothing you’ve ever seen before!
