Estee Lauder New Pure Color Love Lipsticks

I love a lippie and I’m so in love with my new Estee Lauder Pure Color Love Lippie.

This stunning little lovely is just one in a collection of high impact lipsticks in a range of 30 different vibrant shades and four striking finishes;

Ultra Mattes – Rich matte, bold colour

Shimmer Pearls – Bold, shimmer colour with high pearl

Cooled Chromes – Bold, chrome colour with extreme pearl

Edgy Cremes – Bold, creamy colour

This gorgeous lippie in shade 430 Crazy Beautiful falls into the Edgy Crème category and features a medium, buildable coverage.

It glides onto your lips effortlessly and its creamy texture leaves your lips feeling soft while the fab pigmentation offers great coverage and colour.

It is also infused with a sweet vanilla flavour which is cute and leaves your lips smelling rather nice too!

I was worried that the edgy tip of the lipstick would make application tricky but actually by manoeuvring my hand carefully I was able to achieve a really precise and even application.

The lipstick felt comfortable to wear on my lips and despite its subtle nudey-pink hue it still managed to stand out and look gorgeous!

Shiseido Ever Bloom

Ever Bloom is the exquisite new fragrance from Shiseido.

Inspired by one flower so graceful that only a single bloom fills the room, Ever Bloom is described as an expression of timelessness.

This musky, white floral fragrance is beautifully feminine and soft and features a unique olafactory structure- this is, the notes follow a rounded rather than traditional, triangular structure of top, mid and base notes.

It comprises of two accords: Radiance and Presence. 

The radiance accord (the outer circle) is fresh and feminine with notes of cyclamen and lotus flower while the presence accord (the inner circle) is soft, addictive and sensual, comprising of orange blossom absolute, gardenia, sylkolide musk and hinoki wood.

The perfumer Aurélien Guichard says of the scent;

‘When creating Shiseido Ever Bloom, I wanted to bring a new fresh sensuality, a new petal blooming sensation that will leave an unforgettable impression. I imagined a transparent floral heart, clean and natural. An abstract flower that you can’t quite identify, a flower with a “blurred” outline… I think this fragrance is about serenity, happiness, sensuality.’

I think he’s got it spot on.

It is a truly stunning floral scent; Light and delicate yet also powerful and sensual.

Even the chic and sleek bottle manages to reflect this duality with its soft, curvaceous lines combined with a hit of pink radiating up through the bottle from bottom to top.

Considering I’m not a fan of florals it’s fair to say that I’ve fallen a little bit in love with Ever Bloom.

It is a feminine, unique and wonderfully sophisticated fragrance.
