Benefit KA BROW!

There are many, many things that Benefit do right and their ever growing brow perfecting collection is just one example of this.

I had thought that nothing could draw me away from my Gimmie Brow (reviewed here) until I met Ka BROW! that is.

Ka BROW! is an eyebrow cream-gel colour which offers buildable colour and 24 hour waterproof wear.

Housed in a ridiculously cute bottle it features a built in, hard angled brush that offers precise and easy application.

I LOVE this product! It is so easy to use and the brush is brilliant for applying the product which in my opinion is actually more of a thick, dry paste than a cream gel, which is great because it doesn’t run or bleed.

As you can see from my swatch, it is really easy to build colour, ensuring your brows look the best they possibly can and it actually is budge proof.

I have a 9 month old baby who likes to grab at my face and not once have I lost an eye brow during such a moment!

I love how precise this product is in comparison to gimmie brow, and if like me you’re somewhat lacking in natural eyebrow hair, ka BROW! allows you to both make the most of what you have as well as creating bushier brows.

Benefit's Ka BROW! Is available in 6 different shades and costs £20.

Burt’s Bees 100% Natural Lipsticks

Fans of Burt’s Bees will be thrilled to hear that they have launched a 100% natural lipstick collection!

Comprising of 18 gorgeous shades, these full coverage lippies are made with 100% naturally moisturising ingredients to help soften and condition your lips leaving them kissably soft all day long.

Housed in 100% recyclable packaging, these gorgeous lipsticks contain beeswax,  raspberry seed oil (which contains vitamin E) to improve skin elasticity and Moringa oil which is packed with antioxidants as well as being a skin purifier.

Boasting 8 hours worth of moisturisation AND full coverage, I couldn’t wait to give them a try.

The range of shades are just stunning, from pinks and corals, to nudes, reds and berries.

Applying the lipstick is just sheer heaven. The formula is really soft and creamy allowing for easy application and while they do offer full coverage, you can opt to build the colour.

Paler shades such as Tulip Tide which Holly Willoughby recently rocked at The NTA awards can be slightly harder to apply in terms of getting an even look but once you’ve built the colour it looks fab and feels wonderful on your lips.

I cannot stand lipsticks that within 5 minutes leave your lips screaming out for moisture and these lippies do a brilliant job of leaving your lips feeling soft and nourished.

Top: Lily Lake,  Middle: Tulip Tide, Bottom: Blush Basin

I love their really soft, pleasant scent as well which despite being barely detectable is a sweet and comforting aroma.

They offer a delicate sheen and soft, satin finish which gives the illusion of fuller lips and they are so comfortable to wear I’d almost liken them to a tinted balm were it not for their powerful, pigmented colours.

All 18 wearable shades of the new Burt’s Bees 100% Natural Lipsticks are available now and cost £9.99 each.

Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Sucre

Viva La Juicy Sucre by Juicy Couture has to be one of the most eye catching fragrances that I’ve ever laid my eyes on!

The packaging is nothing short of a delectable work of art which sees the iconic Viva la Juicy bottle transformed into what can only be described as a cupcake!

The bottle sits within a structured gold case and features creamy frosting dripping all over the top. A pink polka dot bow adorns the lid, rather like the cherry on the top of a cake leaving a fabulous physical representation of the sweet, delicious scent within.

With a fragrance that looks like this you may expect to experience an overwhelmingly sugary, sickly sweet scent, but you will be surprised to discover that this is not the case.

Yes, it is a sweet fragrance, but it is also soft, creamy and sumptuous.

Viva La Juicy Sucre opens with top notes of mandarin and juicy red currant with Brazilian gardenia.

This fruitiness gives way to heart notes of orange flower, jasmine sambac, peach nectar and almond cream, a beautiful combination of soft sweetness.

Base notes of vanilla extract and sandalwood offer a sweet warmth while crushed cocoa beans finish off the fragrance with an undeniably decadent and delicious note.

Fans of gourmand scents should not be put off by the over the top appearance of the bottle.

Is the bottle chic and sophisticated? Hell no. It’s cute playful and dare I say it, a tad gaudy but the fragrance is really rather lovely.

It is a sophisticated gourmand that I really enjoy using.

Fans of Angel and La Vie Est Belle will love this.

Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Sucre is available now and costs £69 for 100ml.
