Maybelline Rocket Volum’ Express Mascara

I’m always on the look out for a fab new Mascara and last week I came across the latest one from Maybelline.

Maybelline’s new Rocket Volum’ Express Mascara (£7.99- currently £5.99 at Boots) boasts a patented Elastomer, Jet-Glide Brush that promises clump free, voluminous lashes.

Up to 8 time more volume in fact.

But does it live up to its promise?

In a word, yes.

  

The pictures speak for themselves. The thick, Jet-Glide Brush ensured that not too much of the product went onto my lashes and the tiny bristles allowed me to distribute it evenly, avoiding clumping.

 

The brush is though, really hard and sturdy and I found that I  caught it on my lash line several times which was quite painful.

However, I cannot argue with the results and I loved that this product gave my lashes not just great length and volume, but a curl too.

 

Normally i use my lash curlers before I use mascara but I didn’t need to with this.
