Living Proof Healthy Hair Dry Shampoo

I’ve gotta be honest, I’ve NEVER been a big fan of dry shampoos.

I LOVE having clean hair, and while I am not a fan of how long it takes to wash, condition, prep, dry then style my super long and thick hair, I just adore the way it looks and feels afterwards.

That said, since becoming a mum it’s even harder to find the time to pamper my locks and I regularly have go several days between washes.

I’ve never liked dry shampoos for several reasons, the first one being I’ve not found them to be very effective at the job they’re meant to do and secondly they make my hair feel rank.

It can’t just be me that thinks this, but I deteste the way most dry shampoos leave my hair feeling even grimier than it was before!

I’m not a fan of dull, lank and dreary hair when the product is supposed to offer a style pick up!

That was however until I came across Living Proof’s Healthy Hair Dry Shampoo.

This bad boy cleans way beyond ordinary dry shampoos and is powered by Living Proof’s triple action technology and patented Healthy Hair Molecule.

This genius product works in several fab ways;

It absorbs and removes oil sweat and odour leaving your hair looking, feeling and smelling clean
Thanks to the fact it leaves virtually no visible residue or powdery build up it is suitable for all hair colours.

It has a clever time-released fragrance which delivers a delicate, clean scent throughout the day.

You use the product in the same way you would any other dry shampoo; hold the canister 6-10 inches away from your hair, applying section by section in a sweeping motion to dirty or greasy looking areas.

Wait 30 seconds for the powder to work its magic, activate and cleanse then remove the excess by massaging your hair with your fingers or by brushing it.

UNLIKE other dry shampoos however, this one actually works. Really, really well.

Within a matter of minutes any greasiness has disappeared, volume has been restored and they are quite right- there is not a trace of any give-away white powder.

Yes, my hair feels slightly coarser when the shampoo is in it, but it also creates a thicker, more volumised look as a by-product which is much appreciated!

It smells lush too- think botanical and not at all chemical.

The only downside to this shampoo is the price tag and at £23 a bottle it is pricey.

However, if you really do rely on dry shampoo to get you out of a fix as opposed to using a tonne of it daily then it is well worth the investment.

Living Proof Healthy Hair Dry Shampoo is available now and costs £23.
