Seventeen Minutes: Subscription boxes for Mums

Seventeen Minutes is a brand that offers self-care boxes for mums, because while you’re busy looking after everyone else whose looking after you?
Founded by mum of two Sara, Seventeen Minutes offers the ultimate dose of relaxation straight to your door.

Did you know that the average mum has just 17 minutes a day to herself? 17 minutes. Not a lot I’m sure you’ll agree so Sara created these boxes to help you enjoy what limited time you do get to yourself.
Each box is filled with a selection of goodies designed to help you take some time out, remove yourself from mummy duty for a while and chill.

The best part is unlike many other brands you don’t have to sign up and commit to a long term subscription; you can purchase as a one off (£15 +p&p), or sign up for two (£35+p&p) or 4 boxes (£65+p&p) and included within each box is a motivational message along with a personal thank you.
It’s a sweet little touch that reminds you that you’re not buying from a big brand, you’re buying from and supporting a small business.

The launch box is brilliant and features two of my most favourite things; Spacemasks and Chocolate. Preferably to be used together!
For those of you unfamiliar with Spacemasks, they are self heating eye masks of pure joy that transport you to a land far, far away.

Lasting approximately 15 minutes that gives you just enough time to chow down on the super cute  Creighton’s Chocolaterie chocolate heart.
Generous in size and creamy and delicious in taste you will need to hide this from your children, no question!

Also within the box is a Teapigs bolly good chai tea sachet. I have to be honest I’m not a chai tea latte kinda girl but if you are or have yet to try them and want to then now’s your chance!
Last buy by no means least is the inclusion of a book called ‘Life Lessons from Remarkable Women’, a book about tales of triumph, failure and learning to love yourself.

If you could share one lesson from your life with every woman, what would it be?
That is the question this book by Stylist magazine asked a group of women from the worlds of entertainment, politics, sports and fashion and is perfect when you find yourself with some spare time and wish to feel empowered.

If all of this was not enough, £1 from the sale of every box goes to Pandas Foundation UK who give support to people coping with Pre and Postnatal Mental Illnesses, as well as their families, friends and carers.
As someone who has struggle with mental illness and postnatal depression this is a cause close to my heart and I think it is a wonderful and generous gift that founder Sara has offered.

So ladies, lets support one another!

Know a mum who could do with a little pick-me-up? Know a mum who is struggling? Need some ME time desperately? Then check out Seventeen Minutes.

Their boxes will leave you feeling better about yourself for far longer than just 17 minutes.
