Good Girl Légère is the fresh, bold and sprightly new scent
from Carolina Herrera.
As a HUGE fan of the original (you can read my review of this HERE) I wasn’t sure what to expect
from Légère but I was actually very impressed.
Perfect for spring and lighter, sunny days Légère is housed
in the same iconic and stunning vessel as its predecessor but to reflect the
lighter nectar within, the toe is transparent while the rest is midnight blue
as opposed to the pure blackness of Good Girl as well as to reflect the
transition from day to night and from good to bad!
The seductive and radiant scent is described as a floral
oriental and its notes are constructed around the DNA of Good Girl.
Lighter and softer than the original scent, GOOD GIRL Légère
opens with top notes of zesty and fresh Tangerine before heart notes of Ylang
Ylang and familiar Jasmine Sambac offer a soft and appealing bouquet.
Creamy and seductive Tonka Bean and woody sandalwood return
and are combined with the velvety and sweet aroma of Dulce de Leche to leave a
fragrance that is sophisticated, addictive and utterly exquisite.
The Tangerine note definitely helps to lift the scent making
it lighter and in a way, more playful while the addition of Dulce de Leche
offers a sensual and sweet element.
Carolina Herrera’s Good Girl Légère is just an absolutely
beautiful scent that easily equals its original in appeal, quality and sensuality
and is available now from The Perfume Shop and costs £74 for 50ml.
