Baker Days Letterbox Cake and Giveaway

Let’s be honest. Even the most rubbish of days can be made better with Cake.

Well, it always seems to work for me!

No one knows this better than Baker Days who have created something spectacular called, The Letterbox Cake.

A letterbox cake is a cake that you can order online and have sent to someone (or yourself, ahem!) through the post. 

Yes, really.

These hand made cakes can be personalised for pretty much any occasion, are popped into a beautiful little tin to keep them safe and then delivered by your postie, through your letterbox.

Pure genius!

Take a look at my little cake which arrived in perfect condition. It not only looks yummy but tastes it too!

Each Letterbox cake is 5 inches in size and can provide 3 to 4 portions. 

The icing is thin, soft and melts in the mouth and while I opted for a chocolate chip sponge, you can choose from a regular sponge, fruit cake, gluten wheat free cake or dairy free cake.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first came across these Letterbox gift cakes, but I’m actually really impressed.

I think they are a super cute and unique idea that would definitely make the recipient of one smile!

Let’s face it, everybody likes receiving exciting looking post and pretty much everyone likes cake so it’s a bit of a winner!
