Diet Chef: Week 3 Review

So it's week three of the Diet Chef diet and I am thrilled to say that I've lost another pound and a half! I reckon I could have lost more but it was my birthday on Sunday so naturally I had the day off and indulged a little!

I think if I had time to do more exercise I'd certainly be losing a lot more but to be honest I'm very happy with a loss of one pound a week.

After all, it did take nine months to put on the weight so I can't expect it to just to go over night!

Better still, when I stepped on the scales this morning I found out that I finally broken another stone barrier!

My favourite breakfast!

Not that I've lost another stone but I finally dropped down into a smaller one! I'm over the moon to see that number on the scales!

Don't get me wrong, I've still got a long way to go, but seeing the numbers creep down fills me with so much motivation!

I'm fully in the swing of things with this diet now and find that I'm now feeling less hungry and my cravings have really diminished.

I actually get really excited and look forward to my dinners now and because of all the extra fruit and veg I've been eating I feel healthier than I've been in a very long time.

Beef In Ale

My new favourite dinner is the Diet Chef beef in ale!

It's a yummy, rich sauce with flaky beef and sliced potatoes. I like to add a tonne of veg and 150cals worth of wholemeal rice to the meal to bulk it out a little and help to make up my one of the 5 portions of fruit and veg.

I still find it hard to believe that these meals come from microwaveable packs! They're so good!

Speaking of good, check out their paprika flavour bakes. They are such a yummy, flavoursome treat between meals!

So, next week is my last week on the diet and I'm going to work super hard to ensure a good loss next week too so I'm going to up my daily pram work outs!

The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil Bath & Bodycare Range

Argan oil is nothing new to the beauty industry.

This nourishing and moisturising oil works wonders on dry skin and hair, rejuvenating it and leaving it smooth, silky and beautiful.

Given that, It’s no surprise to me that The Body Shop have now created an extensive Wild Argan Oil Bath & Bodycare range, and let me tell you, its stunning!

Maya Sfeir, Category and Innovation Director of Bath and Bodycare at The Body Shop says;

There is an ancient belief that when your skin is glowing, its a reflection of a peaceful soul. Our new Wild Argan Oil range is designed to give you a tip to toe golden glow every day.

After sampling six of the products from the eight strong range, I’d have to agree with Maya.

I am in love with the exotic, warm and sensual scent of the Wild Argan Oil range!

It oozes luxury, and the yellow formula reflects this.

The range consists of:

Body Butter (£13)
The Radiant Oil (£14)
Bubbling Bath (£8)
Rough Scrub (£13)
Body Lotion (£8)
Shower Gel (£4)
Miracle Solid Oil (£8)
Solid Oil Lips (£4)

The miracle solid oil is my favourite product and looks like a little pot of gold! It is, as it says, a solid oil which melts against the warmth of your skin.

I love to use a little of this on particularly dry areas of skin, as well as on my split ends! It works a treat and I love its multi purpose uses!

It smells gorgeous, with a scent that stays on your skin and reminds you of warm summer days!

The Wild Argan Oil  Bath & Bodycare range is available from August 13th.

The Wet Brush

Its very rare that I ever get excited about something as ordinary as a hair brush, Indeed I've not been excited about any since the launch of the Tangle Teezer.

Until now that is.

Wet Brush is the number 1 selling detangling brush in the USA and it’s now available over here.

Unlike this Tangle Teezer, this brush looks like any ordinary hairbrush, but don’t be fooled as its unique and revolutionary design sets it apart.

As you may have gathered by the name, Wet Brush has been specially designed to use on wet hair, where its Intelliflex thin and flexible bristles instantly bounce back to their original form when being used on your hair.

The brush, with its soft and gentle ball tip bristles eliminate the tugging, tearing, pulling and ripping which so often results in split ends and hair loss.

Given that my hair is so long and knotty I was eager to try this out, and boy its good!

After towel drying my hair I began to brush it using the Wet Brush and expected to feel resistance as it came into contact with my knots.

There was no resistance, the brush merely glided through my hair with ease.

Wow.

I will say that on particularly problematic and knotted parts I did have to brush through the area several times before it did the job, but at no point did it tear or tug at my hair.

I’m officially a hair brush convert!

The Wet Brush comes in a variety of colours, prints and finishes, costs £11.99 and is available from Cult Beauty.

Boss Ma Vie Pour Femme

Boss Ma Vie Pour Femme is the beautiful new summer fragrance from Hugo Boss.

The fragrance is inspired by the independent spirit of a woman as she pauses to indulge in the simple
moments in life; a walk home at dawn, the sun on her skin, the touch of a flower.

It is in these moments, when truly treasuring life that the Boss Ma Vie woman is at her most captivating, exuding a glow of femininity and confidence.

The fresh, indulgent, unique perfume invites you to treasure and savour these moments.

Well, I don’t know about all that, but I do know that it’s a really gorgeous fragrance!

Its light, with fruity, floral and musky notes all beautifully intertwined to create a fresh, addictive summer fragrance.

The notes reflect modernity, femininity and confidence.

Top: Modernity
Top notes of cactus blossom accord capture the invigorating green freshness of the uncompromising desert plant.

Heart: Femininity
Pink freesia and jasmine petals are blended with delicate rose bud, creating a natural floralcy.

Base: Confidence
The intense warmth of sheer woods and cedarwood forms the base of the fragrance.

It really is a gorgeous and unique fragrance which I’ve become utterly addicted too.

It is packaged beautifully in a pale, pastel pink bottle with a precision cut crystal lid, the perfect combination of both feminine and modern.

Boss Ma Vie Pour Femme is available now and costs £49 for 50ml.
