GALifornia is the new sunny, golden pink blusher from Benefit.

Perfect for the summer months and evoking images of long, warm sunbaked days this gorgeous new powder blush allows to create a beautiful look with a subtle golden glow.

Infused with a dreamy scent of fruity pink grapefruit and creamy vanilla the blush is embossed with the image of a pretty, glowing sun.

I mentioned this in my news post when GALifornia was first announced but HOW much does the image of the woman adorning the box look like Khloe Kardashian!

Anyway, like all Benefit box blushes, GALifornia contains a custom rounded, soft blush brush which allows for precise and gentle application. 

The powder is super fine, super soft and feels gorgeous on my skin. 

Easy to blend, you can build the  colour from a really delicate peachy pink to a more powerful shade depending on the look your after.

The shimmery gold tone of the embossed sun offers a multi dimensional element and leaves you looking like you’ve just stepped off the beach after a day in the sun.

Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire Lipcheek

Guerlain’s La Petite Robe Noire Lipcheek tinted gel for lips and cheek has to be one of the most beautiful products I have ever come across.

Lets just take a moment to appreciate the beauty of this bottle.

This tinted 2 in 1 gel can be used on both your lips and cheeks (as the name suggests!) and is fab for those who love a matching cheek and lip colour and is perfect for super quick application for gals on the go.

While the vibrant pink of the bottle and fluorescent pink colour of the gel might be off putting and scary, it needn’t be. 

The bright pink hue actually becomes a delicate, sheer pink when applied and its universal colour reacts to your skin’s PH and adapts to bring out a natural pinky tone.

The gel itself is beautifully light in texture and smells gorgeous. 

Inspired by the fragrance La Petite Robe Noire, accents of bergamot, rose and raspberry offer a gentle, floral fruity fragrance and yummy flavour which makes it a pleasure to apply.

When applying to your face, use the applicator to drop a little of the product onto your cheek and let the texture melt by massaging your skin in circular movements.

Easy to blend, you can build the colour intensity from a subtle pink to a more vibrant shade by applying more layers of the gel.

You can apply the product to your lips in the same way and once again you can build the colour to suit your mood and desired look.

The gel dries super quickly and I can confirm that the colour lasts for AGES! It gently stains your skin meaning you are left with a fresh look all day long.

Even on your lips which often need frequent re-application the gel stands the test of time!
