New Treacle Moon Yummy Bath & Shower Gels!

With a six month old baby, a relaxing bubble bath is no longer regular, daily occurance for me.

No, a bubble bath is now a luxury, something I treat myself to once (twice if I'm lucky) a week, so this time is very precious to me!

It's an invaluable 30 minutes I get all to myself, to relax, unwind and just go "aaaahhhh".

I love a Benefit launch and this September sees two very exciting ones.

The first of the launches is Majorette (£23.50), a cream to powder booster blush that gives cheeks a pink-peach shade. 

The blush can also be used under one of the brand's existing powder blushers for extra staying power and a colour boost. 

 

Also launching is the Just Confess You're Obsessed hydrating scented mist (£24.50), a new addition to the Bathina line.

They’re so pretty and I can’t wait to see them up close later this year!

HealGel Eye

Following on from my post the other day about the curse of mummy eye bags is my review of this little gem.

HealGel Eye is another of my must-have eye products that you cannot afford to be without.

This beauty is an intensive anti ageing gel which helps to diminish the appearance of dark circles, puffiness and fine lines thanks to the powerful peptides, biodynes and collagen within. 

It also contains arnica, renowned for its healing properties and offers a super soothing and refreshing gel that makes you feel fresh and revived, even if nine times out of ten, you don’t feel it!

The gel is a thick, milky coloured fluid that glides onto the skin and sinks in almost immediately.

 It is non sticky and doesn’t have that slippery, wet feeling which you can often find with some serums. 

Its feels cool and fresh when applied around your eyes, perking them up after a bad night sleep!

Now, I’ve been using this for about 4 weeks now and I can really notice a difference.

I’m using  far less concealer under my eyes as my black/blue bags look far better and when I do use my concealer, it doesn’t seem to sit as deeply into my crows feet as it had before.

Crows feet are a HUGE issue for me so this pleases me greatly!

Within minutes of using the gel, any puffiness seems to disappear and the area is left feeling firm and fresh.

The gel also creates a fabulous base for any make up you use on top too!

 

I know this product is expensive but its a fab all rounder. 

Lots of eye creams/serums only target one issue at a time, be it fine lines, puffiness or dark circles, but this one does all three, and does it well too.

Clarins Instant Concealer

One of the inevitable and most obvious side effects of being a new mum, are eye bags.

Not just, ‘I’ve had a bad nights sleep’ or ‘I’m hungover’ eye bags. I’m talking down to your knees, shocking looking black bags.

I’ll be honest, they’re not a great look, but when you’re up all hours of the night with a baby, there’s not an awful lot you can do about them. 

They just go hand in hand with being a new mum.

But, just because they have chosen to take up residence on your face doesn’t mean the rest of the world needs to know too!

This little tube of magic helps to correct all types of dark circles while restoring the skins natural tone. 

It’s texture is light, but unlike many other concealers designed for eyes, is thick enough to actually make a difference and offer decent coverage!

It blends into the skin easily and allows you to build up the coverage to ensure a perfect look every time.

I actually use this concealer on blemishes too thanks to its fab coverage, but unlike some thick concealers, it doesn’t leave my skin feeling clogged or heavy.
