Shay & Blue and QVC Launch 4 Piece Fragrance Collection

 Shay & Blue fans get Thursday 18^th October in your diaries now because QVC are launching another fabulous 4 piece fragrance collection for one day only!

From midnight on the 18^th you’ll be able to get your hands on one of two gorgeous collections in either Atropa Belladonna or Black Tulip.

Despite loving the floral gourmand Black Tulip scent I’m am a HUGE fan of their award winning Atropa Belladonna fragrance so it’s no surprise that I opted for this collection.

The 4-piece collection comprises of the following;

100ml Eau de Parfum Spray in Atropa Belladonna

200ml Body & Hand Wash in Atropa Belladonna

This bewitching and intoxicating floral was created in 2012 and is inspired by deadly nightshade and is a deep, delicious and decadent fragrance.

Top notes of mesmerising dark cassis berries cast their spell while heart notes of heady white flower blooms of narcissus and jasmine offer a complex and addictive element to the fragrance.

Base notes of sultry patchouli and warm sandalwood round off the scent perfectly, creating a rich, deep and alluring fragrance. 

The collection allows you to immerse yourself in this scent from head to toe thanks to the combination of body wash, body lotion then of course, the perfume itself.

If this wasn’t enough you’ll also find their brand new launch for 2019, White Peaches in a cute handbag sized 10ml spray.

That’s extremely impressive given that the full sized bottle of fragrance usually retails at £55 alone.

Black Tulip is the brand new intoxicating and bewitching scent from British Perfumers Shay & Blue.

Described as a ‘modern floral’ this deliciously seductive fragrance has quickly become one of my favourite perfumes.

Hand poured into a luxurious and chic smoky blue, heavy glass bottle with gold details it exudes pure elegance.

Shay and Blue pride themselves on their passion, care and attention that goes into creating every scent and you can really tell.

So, onto this newbie.

Black Tulip was created last year by perfumer Julie Massé, Perfumer along with Shay & Blue’s founder, Dom De Vetta.

Intriguing and beguiling the fragrance opens with top notes of snowdrops and cyclamen which offer and instant floral hit before heart notes of Black Tulip and plum create a well rounded, giddy richness.

Base notes of white chocolate and soft woods round off the scent to perfection, creating a soft, creamy, sweet warmth which leaves you feeling completely addicted to its beautiful scent.

Enchanting is probably the best word I can think of to use to describe Black Tulip.

Yes it is to all intents and purposes a floral scent, but it is also so much more than that.

It is deep, rich, beautiful and soft, making it the perfect scent for cold winter days and dark, mysterious evenings.

It is so different in composition and scent from many other fragrances and I can guarantee that when I wear it out, at least one person will comment on its charming elegance.

It is by far my favourite Shay & Blue scent – to date anyway!
