Baylis & Harding Beauticology Unicorn Pencil Case Set

I’ve found this most magical stocking filler for any unicorn fans out there, be it big or small!

Take a look at the stunning Baylis & Harding Beauticology Unicorn Pencil Case Set.

Presented in a sequin encrusted, dazzling case resembling the magical, mythical creature, this generously sized pencil case comes complete with purple fluffy ears and of course, the iconic unicorn horn.

Eye-catching and cuter than cute, this alone would make for a fabulous little gift, however unzip the top to discover a trio of further gems hidden inside.

Inside you’ll find a snowball shaped bath fizzer, a purple bottle of Dreamy Vanilla Icing shower crème and a sweet pink Cherry Kisses scented lip balm.

It’s the gift that keeps on giving for sure!

Enchanting and ever-so aesthetically pleasing, this collection will be certain to create a sprinkle of unicorn enchantment into your life.

Featuring whimsical, sweet, delicious scents, you’ll be enchanted by what each item has to offer.

The snow white bath fizzer reminds me of the smell you encounter when entering a sweet shop; sweet, soft and lingering.

The shower crème is deliciously soft, creamy and warming with notes of delicious vanilla and the Cherry Kisses lip balm features juicy yet mellow notes of fresh, sugared cherries.

They are all just so beautifully presented and I like the selection of items included within the set.

Lets be honest, who doesn’t love a bath bomb (am I right?!), you can ALWAYS have more lip balms, and who wouldn’t want envelop themselves in a rich, creamy sweet shower cream?

Unfortunately, my 5 year old daughter has already bagsied mine, but you can get your hands on this fabulous little gift set on sale now, reduced to just £8 from Sainsburys or Argos.

Goodlife : They know their veg!

I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not (and have never been) a fan of vegetables.

I’ve always viewed them as an evil necessity. Something to be consumed for the sake of your health. Something that is not enjoyable.

I was a bit nervous then when I was asked if I’d like to try GOODLIFE’s range of vegetable based frozen foods.

GOODLIFE have been seeking out the most amazing vegetables from Great Britain’s best farmers and using them to create vegetarian meals for you and your family for over 25 years.

They work closely with their farmers to sow, grow and harvest the best vegetables at their peak and put them in the spotlight, making them the star of a meal rather than part of the chorus in the background.

Their food contains absolutely no artificial additives, preservatives or colourings, and despite my life long dislike of veg, I have to say that from the start their food looked (and sounded) really appealing.

I tested out four products from their range; Falafel with Chickpea, Cumin & Coriander, French Bean & Spinach Sausages with Wensleydale Cheese, Mushroom & Spinach Kiev with a Creamy Garlic and Cheese Sauce and Vegetable Masala with Cauliflower Rice.

First up is their Falafel (£1.80).

Despite not being a big veg fan I’ve always enjoyed falafel and I can safely day that these were delicious.

These classic, Middle-Eastern domes of delight are made with chickpeas and a hint of spice and are ridiculously moreish! Soft, tasty and delicately spiced they didn’t last long!

I wasn’t sure what to expect from these as I’m not a great fan of beans but I was pleasantly surprised!

Crisp French beans, sweet petit pois, fresh spinach and nutmeg create a beautifully textured, sweet and soft sausage. Mild and crumbly wensleydale offer depth to the taste and left me wanting more.

I was really impressed by these and never expected that a sausage made entirely from vegetables could be quite so tasty. These were a big hit with my husband which I didn’t expect as he loves a sausage, but he declared ‘I think I’d chose these over a banger any day’. So there you go!

Next up are my favourite from the collection. The incredible Mushroom & Spinach Kiev with a Creamy Garlic and Cheese Sauce (£2.25).

Hiding within a crunchy, seeded breadcrumb you’ll find earthy mushrooms, tender spinach and  mouthwatering creamy garlic and cheese sauce.

These kiev’s were nothing short of amazing. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and featuring a rich, garlicky, creamy centre they are nothing short of a masterpiece.

Packed full of texture and flavour I would without a shadow of a doubt choose to have one of these over a regular chicken kiev.

The mix of flavours is gorgeous and I thoroughly enjoyed eating these!

Last but by no means least is their Vegetable Masala with Cauliflower Rice (£2.25).

Containing 3 of your 5 a day this protein rich dish combines sweet potato and red peppers in a fragrant curry sauce made from coconut milk, tomatoes and indian spices.

This curry sits on a bed of soft, fluffy cauliflower rice and is a delicious, warming treat of a meal.

It is a really mild, delicate masala so if you don’t like things too spicy you’ll love this. Sweet potato offers a soft and sweet experience while the peppers give a lovely, fresh and distinctive taste to the meal.

I’m already a fan of cauliflower rice and I love that in just 1 meal you have ticked off 3 of your 5 a day, all while eating what feels like a naughty treat!

I’m seriously impressed with this brand and their meals and for someone who isn’t a big lover of veg that’s a big deal!

You can try GOODLIFE’s range of foods now from Sainsburys.

Phil Smith COCO-LICIOUS Coconut Water Collection

I

COCO-LICIOUS Coconut Water is the sweet and scrummy new haircare range from Phil Smith.

Comprising of a shampoo, leave in conditioner and water texture spray the collection is bursting with an exotic, coconutty scent and packed with hydrating and nourishing properties.

COCO-LICIOUS Coconut Water Shampoo is a light, gentle shampoo (£3.50) designed for fine to normal hair.

It smells wonderful and evokes images of tropical beaches and far away places!

It lathers delicately, leaving your hair feeling soft and clean, nourished and refreshed and thanks to its lightweight texture hair is not weighed down.

I don’t mind admitting that I initially made the mistake of thinking that the Leave In Conditioner (£3.50) was a regular one and it wasn’t until I applied it in the shower that I realised my mistake!

My hair is long and thick and needs some serious conditioning so I was a tad disappointed to not have a regular conditioner to use, but that said I was pleased with the results of the leave in one.

Packed full of all the hydrating benefits of Coconut Water, this ultra lightweight formula smells delish and helps to nourish your hair, leaving it feeling soft and silky.

I was a tad dubious that this would be able to tame my locks yet it helped to detangle my damp hair and after blow-drying it was indeed left feeling soft and healthy.

The last item in the collection is their Texture Spray (£3.50). Spritzed liberally over towel dried hair then blow dried or left to dry naturally, hair is left beautifully texturised and smelling gorgeous.

It makes hair much easier to manipulate and allows you to create natural waves with no fuss!

The Phil Smith COCO-LICIOUS coconut water collection will be available exclusively at Sainsburys from July.
