Well, for mature skin it contains a natural peptide complex proven to dramatically increase the skin’s ability to produce collagen and designed to prevent future signs of ageing.

If you have normal skin, the Blackberry Leaf Extract within helps to protect against environmental damage and premature ageing and if you have dry skin, the Hyaluronic Acid provides instant skin plumping and smoothing benefits while essential Amino Acids support healthy skin cell generation for a smoother skin surface.

It’s a little bit of a wonder cream to be honest.

It also contains a blend of neroli, frankincense and rose geranium essential oils help plump the skin, while a concentrated blend of active botanical oils including Abyssinian, kukui nut, rosehip and starflower, feeds the skin with Omega essential fatty acids. 

As you can see from its peaks on my hand in the photo, the cream itself is quite thick and dense in texture.

It is sumptuously rich and creamy and yet not at all greasy, oily or heavy.

I have combination skin and my skin absorbed the cream pretty quickly, though I did use it sparingly.

It has a beautifully soft and gentle fragrance and immediately softened and nourished my face.

A little goes a long way with my skin but for drier complexions you could probably afford to be slightly more generous with your application.

It is a beautiful product and I love that it is 99% natural. Better still I love that it actually works and is a pleasure to use.

Emma Hardie Moisture Boost Vit+C Cream

Moisture Boost Vit+C Cream is the brand new vitamin c face cream from cult brand Emma Hardie.

This advanced anti ageing cream has been developed to help counteract and correct the visible signs of ageing.

Since I turned 30 looking after my skin better had become of paramount importance to me. I’m not getting any younger and I want to try and preserve and protect my skin’s health and youth for as long as possible!

This face cream is my new best friend in that quest thanks to its powerful yet gentle and effective range of ingredients which worth together to leave my skin feeling soft and looking luminous.

There are two products within this new range, the Moisture Boost Vit + C Cream (£45) and the Intense Daily Serum (£49) and today I’m talking about the cream. 

This luxurious cream is described as a ‘treatment’ and I can see why.

A whole host of skin loving ingredients are delivered to the skin in an encapsulated timed-release delivery system, helping to improve the appearance of age spots while strengthening and brightening the skin.

The cream contains the following;

Vitamin C (2%): Helps to suppress the production of melanin, reduces the appearance of pigmentation, dark spots and promotes collagen production for a firmer,smoother skin and reduces skin redness.

Vitamin B3: A skin brightening peptide that helps to minimise the appearance of uneven skin tones and skin discoloration while helping to promote a uniform complexion, refines the pores and boosts moisture levels.

Red Algae extract: Helps to reverse UV damage, contributing to a more luminous and refined complexion.

Sweet Almond Oil, Grape Seed Oil, Sesame Seed Oil and Organic Evening Primrose Oil: Provides moisture, regenerates and nourishes while Moringa Seed extracts helps to purify and protect against pollution.

Pumpkin enzyme: Promotes cellular renewal without sensitising or irritating the skin.

Anti-ageing Coenzyme Q10: Enhances the skin’s natural antioxidant defence by protecting against free radicals and helps to provide a visible effect on the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

It is deliciously thick and creamy and smells absolutely beautiful! Despite its creaminess its not at all greasy and absorbs quickly leaving your skin feeling immediately more plump, refreshed and pampered.

I’ve been using it twice daily for two weeks and I’ve really noticed a difference in the softness of my skin as well as its ‘brightness’, if that makes any sense?

Without make up, my skin looks more healthy and bright, even with the eye bags associated with having two small children!

Caudalie Vinexpert Broad Spectrum Radiance Day Cream

Caudalie Vinexpert Broad Spectrum Radiance Day Cream is a truly beautiful face cream, but it is so much more than just a lovely cream.

It’s packed full of super duper anti ageing properties, courtesy of the humble (or perhaps not so humble) grape.

To explain briefly, grapes contain a substance in their shoots called Vine Reservatrol. This molecule contains some wonderful anti ageing properties and in 2001, Caudalie proposed all the anti-ageing and firming benefits of Vine Resveratrol for the first time, with its Vinexpert line.

This clever little grape shoot extract has the ability  to re-densify and activate cell renewal and stimulate collagen production.

Fast forward to 2014 and Caudalie researchers carried out a new European wide test to show the efficiency of Vine Reservatrol.

Its safe to say the study was a resounding success with 92% saying their skin was smoother,

84% said their skin quality was improved and 81% said their skin looked younger.

Those are pretty high percentages!

So, onto the cream itself.

The cream is  thick, velvety and a very pretty, sheer pink colour. 

It has a lovely gentle, fresh and rejuvenating scent which i found very pleasant.

Though it says it’s designed for dry skin, I actually found it was perfect for my combination/oily skin, with it being absorbed quickly leaving no greasy residue.

Containing SPF 15, the cream left my skin feeling soft and nourished and found that it worked as a pretty great base for my foundation too. 

In terms of combating wrinkles, it’s probably a bit too early to tell, though I would certainly say that my skin feels firmer since using it and dare I say, more radiant?
